#BoycottNRA

Wait.. WTF? You'd rather lose a loved one than lose your right to have an AR15? I'm wasting my time here.

You change directions more than the wind. Do you want AR 15s or assault weapons? The truth is you want everything but revolvers and non-autoloaders.

More from the NRA....

On Thursday evening, NRA TV posted a clip on its YouTube channel entitled "A march for their lies" where the host addressed the Parkland students and said that if their friends hadn't died, "no one would know your names."
"To all the kids from Parkland getting ready to use your First Amendment to attack everyone else's Second Amendment at your march on Saturday, I wish a hero like Blaine had been at Marjory Douglas High School last month," Colion Noir said. "Because your classmates would still be alive and no one would know your names. And because the media would have completely and utterly ignored your story the way they ignored his."
He was referring to Blaine Gaskill, the school resource officer who was instrumental in bringing a school shooting to a quick end at Great Mills High School in Maryland on Tuesday.

And what about that wasn't true?

It’s really f’ed up how the media is trying to compare this to the civil rights movement. One was fighting for rights, one is fighting to take them away from others. I don’t understand adults “listening” to kids who have at best a very rudimentary understanding of the constitution, at worst they don’t understand one bit of it. They just have feels and we should act on that.

Because they aren't adults. They are old children.

I respect that. I'm still unsure of what you took from the statement. The debate was about it not being a compromise if the gun control side was not giving up anything. I said they were giving up trying to take all guns etc...

Your side has no experts. Only ignorance of the subject.

What is one thing all mass school shooters have in common?

Divorced parents and being raised by a single Mom....

Buuuuuut of course no one wants to talk a bout that because gun control is the path of least resistance...and this is why the movement will fail and the lost generation will be always lost.

A few things.

The want to ban all guns is not a myth drummed up by gun nuts or the NRA . If some thought it could actually happen they would be pushing hard for it.

Having said that, since it's not possible "we" (The anti gun crowd) are willing to compromise or give that up for something else.

What are you "giving" to the compromise? A threat of something you can't do anyway? We 're no longer gonna pursue taking all or most of your guns for X law.

In other words it's not a compromise. It's having less taken from you to prevent a fight that could lead to more.

Let’s assume you consider yourself level headed. Is the legality of drugs stopping you from using them?

It's an interesting concept. I asked a similar question that was returned in the form of a non equal or comparable question and it was never directly answered.

Apparently you need a law to tell you something is wrong or not a good idea.

I followed it up with a more drastic question. I will curious how that is answered.
