#BoycottNRA

I don't think so.

I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure you went threw a list of what "we" have asked for on guns over time in some bit about "compromise" with it ending in the current demands.

I 'll try and find it. Don't want to misrepresent.

I remember somebody doing that, and I thought it was Luther also.

Would you pay your taxes if it wasn't illegal not to?

One has you possibly killing yourself or someone else, the other is would I like more $ to take care of my family?

If murder and rape was no longer on the books, would your neighbors need to worry when you are outside?

We've given up trying to ban all guns. We've given up taking the guns you already own. We've given up limiting the number of guns that can be purchased per year. We've given up banning all magazines....etc......

Here it is.

Thanks for giving up on taking something that's not yours. Lol

We need a law on theft.

Still not ringing a bell, but that certainly doesn't mean I didn't say it. Still unclear on what I supposedly said, but if I said it, I'll stand by it and try to prove why it's not contradictory.

There was a whole back and forth where he was asked "What about this weapon?". He eliminated about all weapons but single shot rifles.

Never. Again, I guess you are referring to the x rounds per y seconds debate. I never gave a number. I said I was relatively ignorant and we should let experts from both sides come up with a compromise.

If I couldn't find it, I would have retracted my previous statement.

I respect that. I'm still unsure of what you took from the statement. The debate was about it not being a compromise if the gun control side was not giving up anything. I said they were giving up trying to take all guns etc...

The kids are right and the issue valid. Gun deaths in our country are disproportionately high. The need for more reasonable, rational gun laws exists to anyone not turning a blind eye.

Hunting and fishing are sports declining in popularity, sadly. Future generations will increasingly be isolated from gun use. A bend but don't break approach would be far wiser by the NRA rather than its confrontational style.

For those opposed to banning assault style rifles, large magazines and bump stocks, ask yourself why. If the answer has anything to do with your "rights" as opposed to common sense, you are denying reasonable, rational dialogue on gun control.

It is past time to ban weapons intended for warfare from public hands.

Explain what a bump stock does. Also, explain what an ‘assault style rifle’ is. Does that make any pistol that’s not a revolver an ‘assault style’ pistol?
