#BoycottNRA

The mid terms may prove you wrong. Wake up America! Mass murder and income equality are on the ballot. The gulf grows wider!

If banning “assault weapons” is so important, why didn’t the Democrats do it in 2009 or 2010 when they had the White House, House, and a filibuster proof majority in the senate? Surely they’re not just politicizing the issue......

They would never do that right before mid terms...

Mass murder and income equality? Here’s some solutions for you, abolish gun free zones and get a better job. Stop waiting for uncle scam to save you.

I never did get a clear picture on why military bases were gun free zones. What's up with that?

Almost entirely in blue areas of the country. You guy are failing at everything in those areas, except votes..

The blue areas are also the economic hubs of the nation. Here's a fun exercise. Add the cumulative total of red state contribution to GNP and compare it to blue state contribution. I think there were 31 red states and 19 blue states (something like that).

Oh hell no you don’t. I almost posted a reply to that picture. GDP is a byproduct of population density. Overlay a population density map with that map. Inner city America is blue. Surburban and rural America is red.

If the Dems have all the damn money then stop *****ing to the rich red guys to give theirs back!!

That map looks almost identical to a population density map. It's interesting to me that people who live in close proximity to other people have a greater tendency to vote democrat.

Also, GDP is not a function of population density. There is a correlation but no real cause and effect; if anything population follows wealth more than wealth follows population.

It’s likely the federal regulation. As Sgt. vol pointed out earlier, it doesn’t apply to the national guard stations because they’re under state control.

America’s inner cities have been predominantly blue for a long time Luth. I don’t think it’s interesting it’s rote knowledge. Now take business money off the table and just plot prersonal wealth on that map. Voila. As soon as I made enough money I moved the hell out of the city and bought a house. If all the damn money is in the blue where you claim it is why do all the damn schools suck?

The hell GDP is not a function of population density. Last I checked we mostly lived in the burbs and commuted to the city to work? The majority of us working anyway.

And no population density does not follow personal wealth. Rich people can afford more land. And I don’t want to live in a zero lot line house ever again. Again when I “packed up the truck and moved to Beverlee” I didn’t see all my neighbors chasing me in the rear view mirror.

Good night Luth! Sleep well!

(No I don’t claim to be rich I am exaggerating to just make a point)

I missed Sgt. Vol's post. I believe it was ordered by the DOD under Bush 1. I'll go back to find SV's post.

Good news! Boycott list up to 20. Just a handful of holdouts actually.

"...To seriously confront gun violence — save lives and prevent injuries — there have to be fewer guns. We would start with banning the semiautomatic rifles that — along with large-capacity ammunition magazines — have become the weapon of choice of mass shooters wanting to kill as many people as possible in the shortest period of time.

...These weapons are for war, not civilians. Those who say they enjoy the sport of shooting them as target practice need to ask themselves if their hobby is really worth the lives lost and the fear that has been instilled in such simple customs as going to school, worshiping at church or watching a movie.

The ban on assault weapons that was in place in the United States from 1994 to 2004 helped reduce the frequency and lethality of mass shootings, according to analysis by The Post’s Christopher Ingraham

No one condones mass murder. You need to quit believing your propaganda sources and think for yourself. That is if you're capable of thinking for yourself

I'm not sure how you can believe you're going to have an intelligent conversation with anyone who puts childish emojis in every single post.

A little research goes a long way.

Federal Gun Laws: What Places Are Off-Limits With The FEDS?

As to "why" they are gun free zones? Well, that's a good question that really nobody can answer. It happened under a DNC Congress and an anti-gun GOP President (Bush 41) in 1990.

Now, if Congress didn't act or hasn't acted after what happened with that turd Nidal Hasan and the Washington Naval Yard, what makes you think they give a flying **** all about this issue? Furthermore, they'll double down on "guns" being the problem and not see gun free zones as being the issue.

You can write your favorite Congressperson or Senator and ask the question. But I'm pretty sure the only answer you're going to get is "because it's the law."

Morbidly obese man concerned he's going to die young due to being overweight. Does he:

(A) Do nothing about his diet?

(B) Reduce the number of burgers available for his consumption? or

(C) Ask his workplace to build a McDonald's within his office?

If you're a card-carrying NRA member, your answer of course is "C".

And what are the consequences of overweight people in our society?

(A) No cost to society.

(B) Increased diseases, early death and higher medical costs and insurance rates shared by everyone. Or

(C) Improved society with fewer 400 pound fat guys in their bedrooms in New Jersey.

You guessed "C"? Ding ding ding! You qualify for Trumps new Health and Human Services Cabinet position.

Hey mouthbreather...

Care to respond to either of my posts in the other thread? You can't and won't. Because you're too busy trying to shift the blame to an entity that is blameless. You want to make the NRA into who was responsible for this. But the facts are coming out about huge incompetence on the part of the school, the BCSO and the system as a whole. You ignore that because you would rather try to place the blame on a group that had nothing, NOTHING to do with the situation. You go off on the NRA because it's politically convenient and fashionable to do right now. Not even attempting to see how the entire system failed those dead children.

Wake up and smell the coffee. There's a fresh pot of "shut the hell up" brewing just for you.

* Don't blame the burgers for fat people. If burgers weren't available, they'd eat - I don't know - rice? Yet undeveloped countries with no McDonald's have a healthier, skinnier populace.

** No cause and effect. Pure coincidence.

It eventually worked with tobacco --but I sadly agree about the guns. If more and more dead children don't move people to open their mind and hearts, then no, it won't end well.

Unfortunately, our nation has lost it's innocence, and we can never go backwards, no matter how much we all wish it.

The only real solution is to look at other countries and see what they do that successfully curbs the gun violence. If not, it will be just more carnage.

Your ire is sadly misplaced.

Do you blame big pharma for the prescription medication problems in this country?

Do you blame the health care industry for nearly 100K dying from medical mistakes every year?

Do you blame Ford, Nissan and Chevy for DUIs that kill 10,000 a year?

Do you blame McDonalds for the obesity problem in this nation?

Now, explain to me again how the NRA is responsible for this...

That didn't help your case at all.
