#BoycottNRA

The comanches and a few others did develop a pathological hatred for us, but it was too little too late.

Down South, the aztecs were so bad that the surrounding tribes helped cortez kill them.

Funny how different things couldve been.

Yes it is.

Want to touch on why kids from the ghetto don’t commit these acts?

We have already agreed in another thread about this. I just don't take the hard stance you do that all prescribed drugs for mental health illness are bad.

Anything that jiggers around with brain chemistry should be very carefully administered when it comes to adolescents.

Never been an NRA member despite being a gun owner but these HS kids thinking they are reliving the '60s protest movement are making me reconsider that notion.

They aren't allowed a voice in this? I mean, they are the ones dying because we, the adults, can't agree on what color the sky is.

I agree, which is why we need better mental health services and better access to those services.

We need to accept the fact that psychology is still in its infancy as a science, and try to remember a few basic things. Like..don't feed children psychotropic drugs that can **** with your mind more than heroin.

I never mentioned further prescriptions for kids. Hogg and I agree that there is an over-medication problem with kids. I just don't think it is as pervasive as he does.

Mental health services includes first and foremost actual therapy; learning how to deal with whatever is troubling you. I don't think we should just hand out pills and say, "go for it!"

I was prescribed prozac for stomach pain.

I have several issues with them:

1. I don't want to live in a country where constitutional policy could be implemented based on emotional 18 year olds.

2. They can have a voice but the hysterics are getting on my nerves. Leave the debates and policy discussions to sane individuals. Walking out of school is not going to change anything.

3. I'd almost be willing to place a large bet that the day before the shooting these kids never once cared about politics and now they being used as prop pieces by political operatives on the left. They just don't realize they're being played.

I have no issue with some of the ideas being floated (enhanced background checks, raising the age limit to say 21 to purchase these rifles, banning bump stocks, etc) but I'm not going to concede on the issue of banning AK/AR styled rifles just to satisfy the masses.

Did your stomachs mood swings stop?

That **** made me feel awful.

I seriously went to the doctor because my stomach was always hurting.

Doc eventually asks about my mood. Of course, it was low, becase..my ******m stomach hurt all the time. Gave me prozac.

I refused to take it after a few weeks. Decade later, I get diagnosed with stomach ulcers.

Don't tell me we havent been pushing antidepressants too hard.

Yeah, that’s reasonable logic. Let’s take the word of conditioned, programmed kids, where most are too young to vote.

If they want a voice, bring it to the ballot box. Other than that, shut the hell up with the contrived agenda. It’s sickening.

18 year olds have the right to vote, last time I checked.

Protest and assembly is protected by the Constitution, last time I checked.

Your Fox News propaganda about "political operatives of the left" shows your bias. Again, protest and assembly is protected by the Constitution.

We are in agreement. I never once mentioned anything about banning AR-15s.
