True but the faux outrage being expressed is not to save lives because there are ways to save more lives than going after a particular type of weapon because it's scary. This whole argument is purely political.

You want faux outrage and purely political go look at Florida SB7026 votes. On the bill that passed with all the restrictions except a gun grab only 3 dims crossed over to vote yes. They aren’t interested in compromising they just want “muh scary gunz” and won’t settle for anything less.

I used 'military assault rifle' specifically because I knew an 18 year old could not go in and buy that gun. It was intended to show that there are reasonable and rational laws that are already enforced that do not destroy the second amendment and deny you the right to own your guns. Some of you guys are so easily trapped it almost takes the fun out of the hunt.
