#BoycottNRA

I'm joining the #BoycottTheStupidBoycott movement. I'll be joining the NRA AND buying a carbine that I don't need (and wouldn't have otherwise bought)--just because I can.

Talked to a couple of my like minded buddies yesterday. Tried to get into Cabelas but gave up it was too packed. Haven’t been an NRA member before or ever but joined up because they were pissed off. I told them the same thing I’d rejoined and know of others doing the same.

I really don’t think this will end like the left wants. Yes there is always emotion on both sides and the NRA probably gets a bounce when this happens. But I’ve never been this disgusted before to the point of rejoining and advocating others to do so. And I’m not alone.

If you allow enough lead is it possible to shoot rifle bullets out of the air with pistol bullets?
Just make sure you don't use these:

Question for the anti gun nuts. What do you do with the people who already own guns such as the AR? Do you support the government coming in our homes and taking them?

You know, the people who would generally support the NRA, while not having joined the NRA, generally believe in a right to bear arms, believe the Left is trying to encroach on that right, but don't necessarily dwell on it that much.

When will the left understand that the best way to help the NRA is to do stupid things like this boycott that will motivate the above group to just express principle in the face of stupidity and perceived encroachment?

You don't wave your hands and run at a mother wolf that's happy to just have space between you and her cubs.

The guns that are out there are water under the bridge. I would also support a buy back program. If someone has a gun that is banned in the future but is never "stolen", "lost", or used in a crime, then I don't care if they sleep with it every night until their death.

Banned meaning no more allowed to be made or banned meaning illegal to own? Because the latter makes ex post facto criminals out of law abiding folks who still possess the gun.

Let's do what we do with other activities that have negative externalities--try to internalize those externalities by making sure the cost of the item reflects the societal cost. Here's a brief discussion of the issue:

Lol I love it. I’m sure the bangers will be first to sign up for gun insurance.

Seattle already tried this with their bullet tax and all it did was push sales outside the city.
