the only way to get rid of Fulmer & co. is to show AD Hamilton empty seats. it is our duty as fans. if you want UT to field a decent team again we have to get rid of phil. i know if we clean slate of fulmer and co. that we will have a painful rebuilding year learning new things. But i'll take that over 7 more years of pain(his contract ends 2013).:cray::furious3:

Great idea . . . If people will boycott the game there will be empty seats and I will be more comfortable.

John Majors was fired. I don't remember any empty seats being involved. If empty seats were all that would get one fired, we would have been playing against a team coached by Mike Shula today.

I love it when people try to tell others what to do with their disposable income.

Exactly. The only thing that gets an AD's attention is when the donations either slow down or are threatened.

yeah, boycotting sure helped the Southern Baptist Convention ruin Disney.

Not going to see this game against Spurrier is not an option. I will be there, it is my yearly game as I am from SC. I do think the La Laf. game will have a lot less fans though.

Apparently you are ready for a coaching change like everybody else. So do you also think they should get rid of all the players too? Cause that's why most people go to the game, to cheer on the University and the players on the field. Anybody that thinks not going to the games is what it takes to force a coaching change must think we have an idiot for an AD who can't see what the hell is going on. Maybe we need to fire the AD like Nebraska did if Mike Hamilton can't smell the coffee.

Not all of them. There are a few that actually watch the on field results.

I think most of them watch the on field results, but in the end most are now professional administrators that act more like CEO's and worry about the bottom line.

If that is the case, then their phones must be out of order so they can't hear the howling of the fans and more importantly the big time donors and boosters who ain't gonna follow the company line.

I just wonder how Vol Calls will field any callers this week. They screen the negative ones out. Who else is going to call now but people with criticism.

The post game call in show today had plenty of irate fans calling in...

You are sooo right....I'm just hoping for Hamilton to take a more Jack Welch/Rupert Murdock(sp) approach

I'm going......taking my son for our annual game. It may be easier to get tix but either way I'm going and we will both cheer and yell and have a big time. I may be highly frustrated but I'll always love Tennessee football.

Don't go if it floats your boat. I personally think you are denying yourself some fun for no reason.

In the forty five or so years I've followed the Vols, I've always enjoyed the trips. Some of you young peedabs crack me up with your righteous indignation at one loss. Trying living with bama fans when you have not won in a DECADE! I would always go to the home games and have a ball even when we lost.

Go to the games. Have fun. There are only so many of these things each year and life is short.

One loss.......have you been in a time warp. I know you mean one to bama, but that is a symptom.....not the disease. I too have been and will be there, but not as a happy camper

Pffffff, I got 4 together and am going to have a great time tailgating, loving life, and seeing the vols play live.

Have fun doing whatever *you* plan to do.

I love the Vols. Could care less what anyone else thinks, even vol fans.

We sucked today, waah.

If it takes fans not showing up to get a lackluster coach fired, we have bigger issues than losing football games.

No way, not boycotting. The change will be made at the end of the season and attendance the rest of the season will have no bearing. I watch the games because I love the Vols and I always will.

Yeah, I admit I hang my hat on the bama game every year. Believe me, I've noted the erosion over the years. Never enjoy a loss and there have been a lot more than I like. Maybe too many of the players today just view the college games as a stepping stone to the NFL and the big bucks so they have no real heart or feel no pain at a loss. That attitude gripes me a bunch.....and I lay the blame for it on the coaches doorstep.

Anybody saying to not go to the game, not support the team, is NOT a fan. UT does not need your kind of "fans". I'm pissed about how the season is going too, but give me a ticket and I am there yelling my head off, supporting the team. Donate your tickets to a real fan.
