Boycott AK State Game

How does staying home hurt the players? If they're worried about what's going on in the stands, they need to take up other pursuits.

I'm going.

My friend Tom will be coming in from Arkansas. Our season tickets are paid for, so whether we go or not...the $$$ is spent.
We're gona set up direct TV on campus, watch games all day and have a good time.
I'm not gona let Fulmer and this pathetic staff ruin my Saturdays.

The only thing Mike Hamilton understands is empty seats. Send him a mmessage. Boycott the AK St. game Saturday. Don't sell or give away your tickets. 30,000 empty seats will get his attention fast. Otherwise you are wasting your breath. He won't read your emails. He won't listen to the media. Put the heat on him. Don't go to the games.

Guess we all know you aren't much of a Tennessee fan at all.

I guess that is why you and thousands of others filled TBA during the Houston/O'Neil/Green/Peterson years?

BS

I agree, but there is a difference. The tickets to Neyland have already been purchased. The tickets to TBA never were bought.

excellent point, which is the reason why it would be totally ridicoulous to boycott. But if you must, do it for a game thats on national tv

Still has little if any merit to his point that it hurts the players. And if it does, why weren't all the Fulmer apologists doing the same for the bball players?

And FYI, there are still tickets available for this week's game. So, no, the tickets are not already purchased. Mine certainly are not, as I didn't purchase them this year.

I am not even sure if I will go back this year.

Good luck coordinating a boycott of the Georgia game.

I think it's totally stupid and an embarrasment to the university. But if I wanted to do something, I would do a walkout during the 2nd quarter of the Georgia game. That would get a point across, but would be totally stupid.

Actually, a whole bunch of those empty seats during the Peterson Era were Arena Fund donor tickets. Hamilton even admitted the lack of concession sales were a factor in canning Buzz.

Are you going to the Georgia game?

I can only speak for myself but I saw lots of games during that time. More of a personal, father/son thing but we went. Success does not dictate what kind of fan I am.

Well, I'm going and I'm going to have to buy cokes, cause I don't like my J.D. straight! Maybe I won't wear orange! Nah, I probably will, they're still my team, God love 'em!

A restaurant selling crummy food won't improve its fare as long as the dining room's full.

That's my point. If consumers will pay for dreck, why put forth the effort necessary for excellence?
