Lucas Taylor, if you're out there and read this, please forgive my preseason criticisms of you. I was completely wrong. You're the man. :clapping:

I know that Im not the only one with egg on his face in regard to Mr. Taylor's ability.

It has been great to see Lucas step up this year. It is nice to be able to say you were wrong in this instance.

Right there with you rex....

Can you believe he's on pace to better Meachem in receptions and come very close to him in yardage...

If he keeps this pace he'll break the single season receptions mark and if he puts a couple of above average games together he'll also beat the single season yardage mark set by...you guessed it...Meachem last year...

I definitely have a whole carton of eggs on my face for this one

Lucas has been a really nice surprise. Arian Foster's progress has been a pleasant surprise over the past few weeks as well. And, while we're at it, Chris Brown has been big this year too.

Chris Brown bailed us out in Miss State...The First down was clutch to set up Ainge's playaction pass...Chris Brown is our go to guy IMO..

also watching Ainge this year, it's just hard to believe that's he's the same guy that qb'd the vols in 05. coaching makes a world of difference, or rather the right coaching makes all the difference. As to Foster, can you imagine the type of back he would be if he just had a little bit more speed? he's got the shifty-ness that great backs need, but he lacks that extra gear to run away from people.

Foster's vision has gotten much better of late. at this point, i'm more concerned with him converting 2nd and 3rd down in to 1st downs than making long break aways.

Randy Sanders hasn't affected Andre Woodson that way...what are you saying??:)

Taylor got a lot of undeserved hate from me. Mostly from his kickoff returns, but now he's playing like a totally different player.

Sanders was not our qb coach in 2005.

He was our OC.

Go Wildcats.

Hate to burst your bubble but he was OC AND he also coached the QB's in 05...much like Cutcliffe is now the offensive coordinator AND the QB coach...

Hmmmm.....maybe Sanders wasn't the problem that year....can anyone say scapegoat

you are such a tool. :p I was at our old stomping grounds Monday, showing my wife Opryland Hotel. Wow, cant say that I miss working there one bit. It did bring back some memories.

Foster has been muchg better than I expected. Jake, I cant help but wish he had Coker's wheels.

Sanders is still a good QB coach - OC? That's an entirely different issue. Cut can do both effectively. Sanders is QB coach at UK but Joker is the OC.

From what I've heard and read, Sanders has been instrumental in Woodson's development.

it's also often questioned what exactly sanders got to do as an OC. Scapegoat is a very good word for Sanders leaving.

and... since we're winning and everything is suddenly just peachy again, I'll bite my tongue on how good cut is at doing BOTH effectively.

Lets not forget that if we want to put all of the blame on him for 05 then he needs to get all of the praise for 04. He had to get 2 true freshman QBs ready to play and then get the 3rd stringer ready.

That is a good point.
