BGSU QB was a quality QB. Made tough throws with accuracy all evening. In addition, he has an excellent offensive system. Looks a lot like the Baylor system, well-disguised plays with multiple reads / options with a relief outlet.

Interesting, our team may have been making the right reads, which put them into poor positions for the options.

He will get an NFL shot, I thought he would get 300 yards against us because a lot would be against backups. Only problem was, we were playing backups in the first quarter. Abernathy got beat quite a few times also, as did Mosley and foreman. When we played and showed press they killed us with the long ball.

Babers is a good coach, Ilinois would be stupid not to hire him. I will be curious how they do against MD next week.

'tis interesting that you should make that observation because it is essentially Baylor's offensive system. I didn't know going into the game but the commentators made reference to the fact that Bowling Green's coach, Dino Babers, served as wide receivers coach under Art Briles at Baylor from 2008-2011. This game would provide excellent film study for schematic purposes, should we meet Baylor down the road.

Good luck the rest of the season guys! We're unfortunately used to seeing our defense get shredded to pieces under Babers and this year looks to be no different. You guys have some gifted athletes and should make some noise in the SEC.

Appreciate the comments about MJ, we're hopeful once conference play starts we can put up 50+ on most teams. I'll be rooting for you guys next week against OU.
