I have two sons-in-law. One is South African, one is British. (I know, I know…no U.S. men were good enough for my daughters 😐) The Brit now lives in Edmonton, Alberta. He’s flying to Knoxville Wednesday evening. My South African son-in-law and I are driving down from Johnson City on game day. All of us will meet at Tupelo Honey Cafe for dinner…then off we go to Neyland—the Brit, the South Africa and their father-in-law (originally from Jonesborough, TN and a VFL. My 36th year having season tickets and I was pretty fair at internationally recruiting Vol fans).

Coming in from AZ with entire family. It'll be the very first Tennessee football game for my two adult kids and the first game in Neyland for my wife and me in 30 years. Excited!
Good for you! I lived in Scottsdale from ‘95 to 2011—made it to one game a year…but it was tough. (Not always home games—-especially the BCS Championship games in Tempe—-which was the shortest trip I ever made to see the Vols play. I lived 20 minutes from Sun Devil Stadium.)
