Sadly, no one cares if its not a playoff. Bowls are almost pointless for fans.

That's probably the thing I hate most about current CFB compared to old.

Bowl games, regardless of what level(BCS, new years, etc), used to be so awesome. Was usually a matchup of two teams that rarely if ever played each other, and both teams took it super seriously. I completely understand why most pro-bound or transfer-bound players sit out non-playoff bowl games now, but can't help but miss things like our bowl games against Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan, Ohio State, etc over the many years. Even with the season not ending how we'd want(in a BCS bowl or natty), still had a chance to go out with a win over another solid program.

Oh well, I suppose.
