Texas bowl doesn’t make much sense. They usually try to send a team from the West to that game. Music City/Taxslayer/Dukes seem like the likely destinations.

I spoke to the Taxslayer Bowl Rep leaving Calhouns yesterday, he said if we won 1 of the next 3 games, they were going to send invite to Vols that they love having us.

I’m sure they would, but the conference is the one that selects the teams for the “second tier” bowl games. They obviously work in consultation with bowl reps and the schools, but the conference has the final say.
