Chances? All we have to do is beat Vandy and South Alabama to be bowl eligible. All these games will do is determine which bowl we go to, because we are absolutely going to truck both of those teams. 6-6 is the floor for this team this year.

Oh it'll be an absolute disaster and everybody will be mad and blaming CJH for losing to kiffin...This place holds some of the dumbest fans on the planet...BUT if CJH beats Ole Miss then he will be aiming at god status with the fans...See how it works?

At the beginning of every season they should just ink in the three playoff teams, plus one: the gumps from the south (I mean seriously, what else do they have?), the boring buckeyes from the rust belt, and the sooners because we gotta even out the team distribution for viewing ($$) purposes. These three teams have to really suck to not make it. The fourth team has to earn it.

I believe we are all but guaranteed a bowl right now however if we want a really good bowl game then we need to atleast beat ole piss and Kentucky. I'd really like to see us beat bama or Georgia as well but I'm thinking not this year and at best maybe next year we beat one of the big 3.

Unless the fourth team is Notre Dame.

No, they’d still say it. But in this theoretical, the school would take the Sugar Bowl bid and be happy with it. Plus in all likelihood, if Bama drops a game to us, they don’t become as high of a benchmark (they’re now at best a 3-4 loss team - they lay UGA also)…(not to mention the probabilities of someone else from the West winning the division really starts to jump up at that point, which becomes another topic/aspect).

I know this isn't a pleasant thought but it's reality: we've still got this pesky little NCAA investigation hanging out there. I find it very likely that UT will either voluntarily suspend its program from a Bowl appearance or the NCAA will hand that down as a penalty. I wouldn't count on a Bowl this year
