how are they a "quality" team if they don't have a win over a top 25 team? Only time they played a ranked team was Michigan and they lost. Wisconsin is one of the most overrated teams in the nation IMO
ahh...okay, I see where ya coming from now:good!:They probably are overrated, big 10 is usually an overrated conference to begin with. I was mainly comparing Wisconsin to PSU. They are a top 10 team right now and 11-1. I think UT would have a good chance to beat them and get some national recognition. Beating PSU isn't going impress many people IMO.

Here in the Tri-Cities, I never hear the end of how somehow "Virginia Tech is better than us".....beating them would be sooooooo satisfying:rock:
I'm confused. Why would cap one select us over arky or auburn?
For the 1,0000 time since last week.
Auburn has played Wisconsin already twice in the last 3-4 years, including in the Capitol One Bowl last season. In that game, the ticket sales were about 20,000 less than in previous years.
As for Arkansas, they are coming off two straight losses and would travel much better to the Cotton than to Orlando. Tennessee hasn't played in the Capitol One since we destroyed Michigan, and we were a huge sell at the ticket booths.
The Cap One told Mike Hamilton if Florida won the SEC CG, it would take Tennessee.

I agree with you. I was told that it was pretty much a lock that we were going to the Outback Bowl. Because the Citrus would take Arkansas if UF won the SEC title game. There is also a chance that we could fall far on the grand scheme of SEC bowls if the Citrus takes Ark and the Outback ends up with Auburn. The Peach Bowl would pass on UT to take Georgia, which would leave us playing in the Music City Bowl. Its not really out of the possibility that we fall that far. Which would suck, but I can pick up Indyvol and be in Nashville in 5 and half hours with a stop for Krystals in Bowling Green.
