South Carolina beats us. Never beaten a team coached by Muschamp.
Candy beats us. Our d line is bad. They run the ball on us.
Missouri beats us. Seldom beat them. They have our number.
Might beat Ky. No Josh Allen. No Bennie Snell.

4 non conference wins. If lucky, we get 1 SEC win. State or Ky but not both

We dang well better be in a bowl. Given the extremely favorable schedule next year, if we don't win at least 6, we're in trouble.

The events of this off season have given me significantly more faith in Coach Pruitt. But missing a bowl in 2019 would be pretty damning.

I think we'll be fine. The staff has been improved and the returning guys have another year in a real S&C program. Hopefully the youngsters will be able to contribute during the stretch run. With the cupcakes and bye weeks where they are...6 is the floor...IF...we are at all on the the path.

SC will beat us simply because of Muschamp? We get lucky with 1 conference win this year but beat a good KY team and Auburn on the road last year? You base most of your predictions on “they have our number” basically.

Hope so. Had we landed Briles or Yurcich or some elite oc I'd be more confident. 6-6 is my expectation, but now we have 2 new playcallers (Ansley also calling plays) and expecting production from a ton of new linemen. Another rebuilding year and hope to make a bowl.

Ladies and gentlemen our Volunteers will finish this upcoming season no worse than 8-4 with a good chance at 9-2. Thank you CFP, CJP for giving your all to ensure Tennessee is a force to be reckoned with (finally) once again. Our coaching staff is outstanding and it will show this season. A very, very special thanks goes to the lady (please help with her name) that fired our athletic director and hired P. Fulmer ultimately causing her to lose her job as she snubbed the Haslams and other prominent boosters. She saved our football program with not a moment to spare.

Blew 6th win against both Mizzou and Vanderbilt. No way UT should lose to either. Neither team has half the talent of UT. UT needed those extra practices bad and was playing for their bowl lives, yet laid down 88-30. Hopefully those players that quit are recruited over or moved on.

ESPN has TN in the top 20, that’s about right, talent should fall around top 12, zero reason not to win 8 this year.

If you still think we had twice the talent of those 2 teams, you still don't get it. There's a reason they both whipped us and we didn't have A SINGLE combine invite. 247 tried to warn everyone this team was largely devoid of talent, but few heeded their warning. A talented team does not win 9 games over 2 full seasons!

South Carolina game decided our season. We were not going to beat Missouri. Every pro passing QB we faced last season, ended up lighting us up. Lock is too good.
Vandy game was not a sure win, so we had to beat USC.

What about our weakness at QB & our lack of depth on D Line????
