Just curious how many people think this team deserves a bowl after this seasons results?

No. 3-7 is embarrassing enough. No need to make it 3-8. The extra practice is not likely to help much when so many players would opt out of the bowl game anyway. Also, what bowl would want us? The Weedwhacker Bowl in Shreveport? They should sit this one out.

I voted yes. Not because I feel we deserve it, but because we could benefit from the extra practices and game experience.

It doesn't really matter at this point. You're talking an extra week this year.

I would take the bid, because I feel like all of these players deserve some sort of reward for playing even if on-field results are poor.

wouldnt have yes because of the extra practice
feel like ncaa and bowls and other concerns have their priorities mixed up
this is a terrible time

The players, somewhat surprisingly, seem eager to play in a bowl game. If the team is on board and no coaching change is made, there's absolutely no good reason to decline a bowl bid that outweighs the positives associated with playing. Go to Nashville, beat some middling Big Ten team and start looking forward to next season with Bailey/Salter running the offense from day one.

I voted yes, I’d say that the players would want to and Gray missed Tex A&M game so I’m sure he would want another game. Looking at ACC teams we probably deserve Georgia Tech or below. Wake Forest would be cool but they probably would want a better team to play lol.8DEFC656-C7F5-429C-A5F7-912043843546.png

The bowl season is upon us.....There won't be a whole lot of extra bowl practices like normal bowl seasons where there's a month from the last game of the regular season and the bowl game. Most all the bowls except the bigger bowls are done by Dec 31st. Music City is the 30th. which some say we will probably wind up.

Oh c’mon people!!! We fire Pruitt before the bowl game. Rather than making Chaney interim Phil pulls a Wisconsin and names himself HC...and he pulls out a victory!!!

It would be so UT! 😛

I wonder if recent game against a powerhouse like Texas A M gives Vols an advantage If bowl game in 10 days. Wish we could play Vandy again and if not another 3 win team will be good matchup. Would love to go to Music City Bowl to see our Vols. Play the kids and practice and then practice some more.
