Bourque's father says.....

Who is Noel Ellis' son?

Noel Ellis Jr. committed to Texas A&M. Dad has been upset at LSU because they did not offer and told him to come to camp, instead of coming the camp... father destroyed his son's chance at going to LSU by waging a one-sided war. Quite sad really.

@NMVol
Good likelihood of LOUISIANA being DB's dad or family member, been on the boards here for a while since the the LSU fallout. It's the same ole song and dance.

Yeah maybe, but LOUISIANA isn't the only one engaged in this odd behaviour.

I remember being 17 and homesick while at Parris Island. I couldn't talk to my daddy and they wouldn't let me transfer to the Air Force.

The odd comment is a sure sign of who is involved. No way you will figure these people out, don't even try.

IMHO this is a good thing for UT not a bad, you found out right away the true nature of the situation without wasting 2-3 years to find out.

His father released a statement to Jimmy Hyams.
And I quote the quote that Jimmy quoted the day that quote was reported late last month by all other reporters.

" Devante is really broken because he couldn't make it thru the foot drills at camp". He went on to say that " My sons chest and back and legs and arms and head and feet and neck hurts from a hit he took from a real man, and he don't wanna anymore."

TIFWIW

Fer real!

Nice to see a fan from an opposing team shedding some "real" light on this. Louisiana sounds like a family member.

Wasn't DB's grandfather, was his Baby Mama's father. How does a non-relative play into this. I would be sad if my girlfriends father died, but not debilitated. DB was homesick, didn't pan out in basic RB drills, and didn't want to switch to LB. Plain and simple. I don't the UT has to release him if he enrolls in JUCO do they?

The sad part about this, is you could see this coming 8-12 months ago, all the signs were there. If you go to DB's recruiting thread, much of it was in there from earlier in the year.

There is just no good from a recruit, family member, and/or a player fighting a school in public.

Louisiana sounds like a family member.
:good!:

The drama on this board with these "in the know" Louisiana posters showing up here around this incident is simply bizarre. First the malign DB, then they go on for paragraphs saying nothing, finally they disappear in a cloud of befuddling innuendo. What's that all about?

"Up and vanished like a fart in the wind."

It's just a shame that people are making excuses for this kid. I hate it that he didn't have the maturity level to be away from home. But it is what it is...most programs knew this kid wasn't a RB at this level including UT. But that's recruiting and what teams do to get quality athletes on campus! It's no schools fault! It lies directly on him! Just didn't have the maturity level mentally or physically! And his support group around him sure won't help him moving forward.

He said he has been on message boards since the 80's. Was anyone else on message boards during the 80's?

I can remember them as early as '91 and being pretty big by '96 but what kind of message boards existed in the 80's?

? He must have been suppressing technology for over a decade. I think the first mass marketed operating system came out from Microsoft in 95.

Except in Louisiana. That is where "Back to the future" was filmed. They've secretly had the internet since the early 1800's. More lies for the lies, in case there wasn't enough LIES.

I wondered the same thing when I read that.
