Bourque commits

This guy is going to be a hell of RB after he learns to run behind his pads. When I first saw justin hunter's high school basketball video I said this guy is going to be a great WR based on his athletic ability.

Well this guy is going to be a stud RB, mark it down.
Good observation. He needs to lower his pad level and learn to take and deliver a hit; runs too upright.

JG will get that fixed. Glad we have a RB coach. Great pickup and looking for big things from our line and RBs next year.

Boom baby!!!! Hopefully the first of many........

Magic8Vol, will this be a good day in Volunteer country? "Signs point to Yes!"[/QUOTE]

Well if we can get a "Bones Never Lie" from the Witch Doctor, I will say Boom as well.

Bourque is listed on Rivals as a "solid" verbal..Maybe his verbals to A&M and LSU were "soft", so maybe he has made up his mind..And yes, I am aware of the fact that he has a visit to Miami left, but can't be concerned about that.

He may just get caught up in the moment. I'm not Confident till after the U trip. He may get caught up there too.

hate comparing but I will. He's a Percy Harvin type of guy from what I understand. RB/HB/WR slot (although tall), etc. He should be very well utilized.

Not a good comparison

The only similarities are that they could both lineup at several positions but that's no different then half the guys coming out of high school. Percy Harvin was the #1 rated recruit in the nation while Borque is #191. Percy ran a sub 4.4 forty while Borque is 4.5+. Borque is plenty fast especially for his size but he doesn't have elite speed like Harvin. Borque said himself that his running style "punishing" and that he liked contact. That's not Percy Harvin.........

The only thing "punishing" about Percy Harvin is his migraines.

YES. we are for sure recruiting him as a RB. Unless we blatantly lied to the kid which Dooley doesn't do.

What you said. We are recruiting him as a RB. that's why he likes the Vols. He will get his first shot at the position, and go from there. He could be a WR, or safety. I will hold by boom on him until he signs, or cancels his Miami trip.

God i know, i was a vikes fan the two years favre was there ( not bandwagon just followed my favorite player of all time wherever he went) and it seemed like every other week that was his excuse for missing practice and or games. wonder if theyre what caused those two fumbles against the saints in the nfc champ game. kills me to this day how favre is the only one who takes any blame for that game after one of the toughest performances ive ever seen by a qb. three fumbles and a horrible penalty on the play that would have kept them in field goal range... if only....
