The future looks bright...the present is sickening...

Fulmer created a mess...Kiffin perpetuated it...Dooley is a man for taking on the task of cleaning it up...he deserves our support

I for one am not about to bail on him...

And in 2012 when all of these youngsters playing now form one of the deepest and most talented teams in the league I won't have to say I was wrong for bashing him relentlessly in 2010

That sums it up. Fulmer created it, Kiffin perpetuated it, but Dooley is somehow the one getting bashed for it. Makes no sense to me.

I just posted about this in another thread. I'm having a hard time and exhausting myself trying to explain to people that this is not the Tennessee team that they have grew to love over the years. Dooley is coaching with his hands in handcuffs... If anyone was not impressed with the drive of the freshmen today, then you are like my ex, very hard to please..... We'll be fine. I just want to go into a coma for a year or two, then wake up at the start of the 2012 season.

Yeah, because Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Auburn, and South Carolina don't have any young talent. It's an easy climb over them.

I think Dooley is getting bashed for having substitution issues for the 3rd week in a row, being offsides on a kickoff, having many missed tackles, and generally looking poorly coached today. The coaching stunk today.

This is a great statement and a very honest view of what is going on. Too many people are screaming for Dooley to be fired and that's beyond insane.

do you find any enjoyment out of life? I am asking you this seriously, because I can't recall ever seeing you post something positive.

Dooley didn't make us fumble it twice, and didn't make Simms throw a ball to an open WR two seconds too late to get it picked. He also cannot control the psyche of a team dominated by freshmen after a heartbreaking loss. The missed tackles have been here since Fulmer and Kiffin because these are the same piss poor players they had in their closing classes. I don't care how good of a coach you are, there's not much to work with when you can get no rhythm on either side of the ball due to a bad D-line and a young offensive line. The LBs are too slow, the good DBs are too young, the other DBs are just bad, and then you have one star in Janzen.

The WRs are good but can't get in any rhythm because the QB has no time to throw to them. The RBs are good but have no holes to run through.

Vince Lombardi would crap his pants if he saw our depth chart.

yeah, I think of it as the players stunk. coal doesn't turn to a diamond in a day, and dooley can't make these youngsters gems in just one season.
