Let's hope not. It never works.
You have heard Kiffin say this offense is about finding a "Rhythm". You can't do that with two QB's. I think he is pushing Crompton. I think he knows who his starter will be.
Chris Low kills me. Never anything positive from the guy about UT. Nothing.
A starter will be named the week before the WKU game. We won't substitute back and forth during the season, and Kiffin has said as much.
That doesn't mean he won't give NS a series or two in the first two games (other than mop-up duty).
IMO...NS will play in the first half of the 1st two games.

I think CLK was referring to Spurier style shuffling QB's in and out during a single game, saying this would not allow the QB to get into a game rythm.
I don't think he meant that if the orignial starter played horrible he wasn't willing to pull them in favor of the back up?
Thus, what CLK meant was that he would not go into a game planning on playing two QBs. But he never said he was against pulling the starter in favor of the back up if the starter sucked.
Kiffin said that he would stick with the starting QB for the season. There's a reason that these guys were so bad last year and it wasn't necessarily the offensive scheme either. These guys were terrified that if they didn't do well they would be yanked one for the other. It's not happening this year because unless they understand how to overcome adversity, they will never amount to anything as a QB.

Kiffin never said he would stick with a QB for the season. He said that he would like to have one guy take hold of the job and run with it without having to look over his shoulder if he messes up.
I am sure Kiffin is more than willing to replace a QB who can't get the job done hopefully sooner than it took Fulmer last year to make that decision.

Or Crompton plays so bad he has too.
Kiffin never said he was sticking with one QB for the season. Here is what he said.
"Great offenses have a rhythm about them. There's a rhythm to the game, just like there's a rhythm to play-calling. If you switch quarterbacks, the cadence is different. The huddle is different. You never create a real rhythm, and you don't get to feel that quarterback."
"I would never alternate quarterbacks."

I still think he was just saying he was against spurier style shuffling of QB's in and out on different series during a single game. People read too much into this quote.
If the starter plays bad, CLK will pull him in favor of the back up.
