True.
But was surprised that they thought Floridas Oline is as bad as ours. Have they also had some injuries?
I am not sure about their injury situation, but I do know that their O-Line was definitely a weakness last season. Also, no disrespect intended OP, just couldn't pass up a good Captain Obvious post. :hi:
One possible correction... I don't think UT needs to play above its talent level. I think they just need to finally play up to it this year. I think we have a very talented line that, for some reason--including injuries--has played down.
If UT's OL can get back to the level they were at last year, this game will be a walk for the Vols. If not, I fear we may be able to name each year of the streak after a tribe in Israel.
The key to victory is recognizing that you are better than the other team on playing like it. Tennessee is the better team. Stop "hoping not to lose" and "expect to win". Completely different mindset that will absolutely affect the way you play.
Maybe that's why Florida has won games over the years when Tennessee was the better team.
Why is Tennessee the better team?
Why are they not? Injuries have leveled the playing field, but I think we still have the more talented roster this year. The UF defensive unit is a little better than ours is now, but I think that our offensive unit is much better than UF's plus the kicking game favors us, in my opinion. That's part of what is making this fanbase on a razor's edge. 11 in a row has a way of doing that. We have lost in every way possible over that time, and I don't think it would surprise anybody to lose tomorrow as well. The last 2 years, I think we have had the more talented team, but found a way to lose....so nobody is very confident until they see it happen.
As to the topic of the thread, I think it is accurate. Whichever Oline gets beat less wins the game.
