Anybody catch the end of that Arky St bowl game?

Really bizarre situation. Arky St down 21-19 with them kicking off with about 1:15 left in the 4th.

Arky St got the inside kick but an offsides penalty was called. In all honesty, it was kind of a bogus call.

Re-kick which Arky St did not get

Now here comes the odd part and crux. Arky St had three timeouts at the time. In theory, could have let N Illinois run the ball three times and maybe get the ball back with 45 seconds left right?

Nope. Botch calls a timeout before any plays are ran-after the second onside to yell at the refs. So basically his team couldn't get the ball back.

Didn't matter anyway as N Illinois got a first down, but that just seemed like a horrible call by Botch

Saw it and immediately texted family and asked how did we hire someone with such a weak football IQ and so ego-manic. He eliminated them from any chance of winning due to weak emotions.

It was a terrible call but you can blame him for not giving his kids a chance because he let his emotions take precedence.
