Just asking. It's a pro stadium after all. Is it an NCAA rule or just a UT one? I'd rather buy in there as I hear the Georgia Dome is tough to sneak stuff in to. I was under 21 in 07, so I don't remember.

Niu played Iowa @ soldiers field and they sold beer. I'd think it'd be the same situation.

Just refer back to the "BOOZE IN NEYLAND THREAD". thiers about 233 diffrent ways to smuggle alchohol into a stadium and detiled instructions on how to do it.

VOLNATION- KEEPING A FAN BASE DRUNK DURING A GAME SINCE 2003

Oh I'm a pro at getting it into Neyland, no worries there. But Atlanta has a little higher security.

Sounds like you can buy it though, so I'll take the hit and buy 5 dollar beer.

As long as any of the BOWL games are being played outside of campus, they can sell you beer at the game.

IIRC, it's an SEC rule. Since this game isn't run by the SEC, I would guess there would be beer available.

5 Dollar beer?? Probably closer to 7 or 8 bucks for a beer, but I am almost positive they will serve it. After a few beers price doesnt matter though!

I'd rather remember the beating the Vols put on the Turkeys. I honestly only remember flashes of the Ozzfest concert I went to in 2005. lol.

Just point at the hokie fan in front of you and yell, "he's got liquor", they'll be so busy dealing with him, you'll get in no problem with whatever you're sneaking in.

Same concept if you're diving, if you see a shark, cut your buddy.

It should be fairly easy to sneak a flask in. You will spend rouhgly $8 for a 16oz beer and yes, they will be serving!

They do serve beer. They even serve it at the SECCG in the Club and Executive levels, but you can't take it to your seat at the SECCG. It is expensive, so if you aren't going to sneak in a flask(security is pretty tight unless you go in with a very large crowd), make sure you drink plenty before you go in.

that was a SEC sponsored event, this game is not. Beer should be served.

The GA dome sells it ALL for the chick-fila game........... But none for the SEC champ game. I just don't get it.

Well... it WASNT available at the SECCG... which terribly upset me at the time... but in hindsight, was a blessing.

I think that it is an SEC rule. I have been to non-SEC home games and been able to buy beer.... however that was a Tulane home game, which might not be a fair comparison.

Alcohol was served and consumed in the Georgia Dome for the 2007 SECCG. It may have been limited to certain levels, I can't comment on every section of the stadium.
