Booze in Neyland?

The small of the back.... all you need is a baggy shirt, tight belt, and a slim bottle.

I've brought in entire fifths before :naughty:

Got busted with that trick when I was a student going in the student gate, of course, it was only one time and I just "borrowed" some from the person sitting next to me at the game.

It's worked every other time.

I don't believe you can bring in outside drinks to Neyland
I've never been asked to throw away a bottle of water on my way into Neyland. Done it plenty of times. I had a bottle of coke that had a little jack in it that they asked me to throw away one time though.

This is a family event. Drink at the tailgates. At least half the fans around will not tolerate alcohol inside and will not hesitate to turn you in if you are even suspected of breaking the no alc rule.

I'm betting those are the same fans that start the wave when we have the ball and do the wooooo in Rocky Top.

Hey guys I am going to the Vandy game this week. Its the first one I have been to in like 5 years and the first since I turned 21. I know they dont sell beer but do you guys take a flask in? Will they throw you out if security sees it? Also where can I pay to park? Dont mind cost just dont want to be miles away. Thanks.

Garage on 25th is $5 and a short walk to the stadium. (few hundred yards)

Really, why is it every game I have been too no one seems to care? Oh you must sit in the section were you shouldn't stand up and yell right? Not once have I acted irresponsible while drinking in public at a Vol game.

I'm sorry, but no one ever gets booze into the stadium. UT is a dry campus after all, and in no way will 9/10 people around you be intoxicated. I have been going to Neyland for 19 years, and never have I seen drunken behavior in or around the stadium.

Maybe you've been at the wrong stadium.

There's is booze everywhere in Neyland. Most people double bag whiskey and put it in their pants, buy cokes, and start mixing. Also, putting airplane bottles in boots is common. They don't really check you hard anywhere in Neyland.

Good Lord!! Can you not make it 3 hrs without drinking?? Do you really need more alcohol than the 17 beers you drank in the parking lot to make a powerhouse SEC football game (more) interesting?? Sad really.....

Park across from the Civic center, cost 4 dollars per person I believe but includes a shuttle to and from the game, it's pretty sweet, easy to avoid all the traffic.

As for drinking, it's a 7 start so you will have plenty of time to hammer some down before hand, would not advise sneaking in alcohol, just drink before.

Also, I know many people who have been caught with alcohol in the stadium, and as long as you're not blackout and rude to the officer, they usually just confiscate it and let you stay at the game.

Water bottle + vodka = winner. No need to hide a damn thing.

Except for that part where they don't let you carry in outside beverages, so even if it was just water, you'd have to chuck it.

Double or tripple bag liquor, put it in front of your junk and crease the seal over your boxers, tighten that belt up and you are golden

Um... I'd rather not drink liquor that's been hanging out around my crotch for awhile, thanks. Sure, I keep it clean and all, but that's just a bit much.

One thing that does work is if you get a few airplane-sized bottles or some other small container, and have your girlfriend/wife/fiancee/female friend put it in a pocket of her purse under a bunch of (unused and unopened) tampons. Haven't met a security guard yet who would sift through a girl's tampons.

You should see that student section after a game.. Like a liquor and whiskey war zone with bottles EVERYWHERE

I tend to guzzle large quantities of beer when I'm stressed at football game.....these past several seasons, it's not been hiding the beer so much as hiding the Clydesdales and the wagon.

In my old days of smuggling liquor into a game I used to bring in a bottle in my binocular case, they never looked in it.
I can't say what they look for now days though.

My favorite ploy as well.....even to the point of having a case that would hold four pair of the kind of binoculars hanging around my neck.

Just go in Gate 21. I'm pretty sure you could have airplane bottles taped to your face and still get in.
