Booster Meeting Today Regarding CPF

Question - Is Haslam considered the "top" booster of influence these days? I can't keep up on their status.

If the meeting did take place and Haslam was not present, it could be that his mind is already made up or he could be letting them plan everything and he approves or adjust where necessary. I don't know. While we are speculating might as well consider all angles.

This has got to be the most ridiculuous thread I've ever read. Pete Carroll on the list....HA (you think he really want's to play SEC competition week in, week out). Lane Kiffin, guy is far from proven and would be a huge risk based on his inexperience. Yeah he coached the Raiders but this guy isn't the guy. Steve Sarkisian, great mind, great X and O guy, but ZERO coaching experience.

The guy I like is Todd Graham with Tulsa. Defensive guy that has Gus Malzone running his offense. Lead Rice to their first bowl trip in 45 years (think Vandy but they went to one in the early 80's). Back to back ten win seasons at Tulsa. This guy can coach with talent that average at best. Imagine what he would do with Tennessee's talent?

i don't understand this statement..

It is perfectly clear. Because the man has his team in the top 5 each year, he must not play against any good teams, a sure sign that he is afraid of competition. He therefore would never come to the SEC, where mighty Vandy sits atop the standings.

I wonder if the people who suggest Stoops actually believe it may happen, or they just want to stir up a one sided discussion.

What is the Jeff & Heather Show?

This secret meeting comes right after the rumor of a secret banking account with the buyout money. :detective:

That isnt a rumor. There is a bank account with the money in escrow.

Let's hope they've parked that escrow account money in CDARS or T-Bills ... the FDIC is only insuring up to $250K and First Tennessee Bank is not in good shape these days. :)
