When players throw at players, then who is crossing the line? Give our players credit. They put on coveralls and go to work when necessary too. Remember, this was Missouri this go around, the program that paid one of its own a tremendous insult by snubbing him during its coaching search a few years ago. The players seemed on a mission, but they have been businesslike in recent outings, too.
The antics aren’t directed towards the other team, crosses a line. LeBron posterizes someone and stands over them and stares them down. I think that’s worse than just goofy antics between our own players.

I have not wore my UGA stuff at all in public for three years, nothing but orange. Don't want people to get confused but I do get tired of being cursed by non-UT fans when they see my caps, shirts, shorts, jackets, and stickers. What makes it worse is remember who you beat for your National Championship in football. ;)

There is a line that shouldn't be crossed. I don't know where exactly that line is but you will know it when players start getting thrown at. It WILL absolutely happen. I suspect that Gilbert will be the one to cross that line :)
Being playful is not the same as having balls thrown at you with the intention of injury. If that is the way the "adults" act, then I prefer the kids.

Which one? 98 isn't our only NC, just the most recent 😁

Not a fan. Act like you've been here before.

I had a conversation with my 20 yr old son about this and we both had different views.
I was actually surprised they didn't hit/throw at him the next plate appearance. I know I would have sent a message, a change-up "high and tight" is the phrase that we always used and gets the message across.

It would be interesting to see a poll if people agreed/disagreed and what the age group is. I would bet the older generation didn't agree and the younger thought it was funny and no big deal.

Oh these guys are having plenty fun. Daddy hat, pimp coat etc....
However I saw the thing Luc did as rubbing your success in the opponents face and in my day we would have retaliated. But that's how I saw it.
Looks like my post fired up the young whippersnappers in here..😁
It's all good..GBO

I've watched enough Tennessee baseball that I've seen LSU, Arizona, Arizona State, and Vanderbilt do the same thing. and in our park! CTV isn't the first "brash" head coach. And our players are setting records and having fun. It's baseball, they're kids. Let them have fun. Let the MLB suck the fun out of the game.

One, is our team full of Hindu folks? News to me.

Two, sport is supposed to be fun. Nothing this team does is taunting other teams, it's all just them enjoying themselves. Pull the panties out of your cornhole and enjoy it. Or just shut up.

I would be willing to bet that if one of Missouri's players had done that all the peeps busting your balls over your post would be calling the one finger home plate touch a classless move. Of course they will deny it.
You know it. 👍

Loved it and yeah.... wouldn't mind at all if another team did it. I was frankly more concerned with how Honcho (love his fire) turned and trash talked the ump after the bad strike one call before his homer.

Love the hat, the mink coat, the second base dance thingy, the firey demeanor. Just have to watch what we say and who we say it to.

Hope they keep having spontaneous fun.

Sometimes Tony V gets guilty about having too much fun-- Saying Luc looked 40 but acted six, Corbin reminded him of his dad. Why not have fun, we know we aren't going to win every game. (but wouldn't it be great if we did?)

In other news, I have seen teams stomp on our logo and act disrespectful in all sports- the way you combat that is to beat them.

I don't think I would encourage it and I don't think V does either. But when it is spontaneous it is fun and that is what this game should be. V said it. He looks like he is 40 and acts like he is 6. These guys have never been here and will never be here again. Every other area of their life will get real after this. Luc just bought a house and has plans for the future so I say enjoy it big boy. What makes this team special is they did not join a team that was bound for Omaha except maybe the freshmen and juco transfers. The rest joined a team that had not been anywhere and they did not expect to be anywhere close to this. The fact that they enjoy the game is why so many people are watching. I bet this weekend there were over 100 people who are not UT fans in anything other than baseball that watched games because of Kirby and this team. The #1 quote "These guys look like they are having so much fun." And multiply that by about 20 guys who did not grow up as UT fans and have converted their friends and family to UT fans, if only in baseball. I know for some of you diehards that is hard to believe but for some of us we are still just UT baseball fans but maybe it will grow on us. I love Heupel and if you let him stay long enough to succeed I might become a UT fan. (You don't want to know who I pull for in football.) Go Vols. Have fun young men.
We still have a little time left to convert you! TBH, P-man, I really hope you stick around when the Tennessee playing days are done.
We’re gonna need that MLB insider!😎
GBO!!
