On Finebaum show today, Booger says our Oline is worse than last year.
Says that and Dobbs inability to throw with any consistency will keep us from winning East.
He said McElwain is an offensive genius especially with QBs.
Said he is working wonders with Del Rio just like he did with Grier last year.

100% Agree. This was supposed to be Butch's and Tennessee's year and he screwed the pooch by retaining DeBord and Mahoney. We need a OL, OC, and QB coach yesterday.

Simply inexcusable.

You're worried about what some dude named "Booger" thinks about the Vols? :puke5:

Seriously don't understand how we are worse? 4 returning starters a year older and they according to the experts are worse? The film sure does suggest it...what happened?

Simply innacusable.

Debord had Tennessee at 2nd in the conference in yards per game. It all starts at the line.

I'm going out on a limb here but I think debord will be good enough to beat Florida. I actually think he does a decent job when daddy Butch takes the cuffs off

I understand the frustration to an extent. The offensive line has indeed under-performed. I also think things can change quickly. The bottom line is that both teams are 2-0 while Florida has played UMass and Kentucky. Brent Hubbs pointed out that this Saturday will be the first game this season that represents some 'normalcy' for Tennessee - meaning they will be playing on a Saturday and in a football stadium where the coaches don't need binoculars to see the field from the press box. I still expect us to play better and to beat Florida. I really get the feeling that is the game that this team has been preparing for up until now anyway. We'll see.

Dobbs consistency was good when he had time to set his feet...all other times O-line broke down causing erratic throws.

Ya'll are throwing in the towel way to early.LOL There have been two games. You really think that the caretaker is going to let this line continue to play down to the comp? this teams has Natty goals and ****ing florida, UGA, no one is going to stop this team. and on top of that for everyone freaking out, if he doesn't beat florida this year, he's not the guy. Then we get someone who can. let it play out boys.
