This is a perfect example of why my TV is usually on mute when watching sporting events. Sometimes when I do hear some of the ''noise" they are saying I literally get embarrassed for them. The Mr. Obvious chatter is mind numbing sometimes. I'm sure this guy is as qualified as 90% of the others but it just gets so boring and tiresome hearing them drone on and on. The director of the PGA on CBS broadcast would literally shout "NO CRAP SHERLOCK" into the headsets of the announcers if they said something like "well he certainly hit that putt to hard" as the putt rolled off the green into the sand trap. NEVER EVER state the obvious and its the most violated rule in sports broadcasting. The other number one rule: Never say its out of here if its not out of here! baseball reference of course (NO CRAP SHERLOCK).

I love all the lemmings on here that immediately start slamming him because the OP claimed he was against UT, not having a freakin' clue the context.

No it didn't. It only triggered people around here. For the rest of the country they may not even understand what the cigar smoking means so he was explaining.

This would be possibly acceptable if he were Alabama alum, but come on. He's LSU grad.
