SEC Network commentator Booger McFarland was just on Finebaum show.
Said he doesn't trust Butch to come up with anything to cover up for an "abysmal" UT offensive line.
Said Gators have best defense in country.
Said Dobbs will have no chance to move ball.
Said Vol fans are sick of hearing about building brick by brick and want to move into a completed house.
He expects us to lose four straight games and then he says Butch will lose the team and the Vol fan base.
Paul just shook his head and said "wow".

Paul Finebaum just had booger on and booger went on an epic rant about Butch Jones. He said that if he trusted Butch Jones he would pick Tennessee but he can't trust Butch Jones nor Mike debord. So he's calling for 12 in a row. He said Florida has the best defense in the country. His rant was basically about Butch and all of Butch's stupid cliches and sayings.

He said if Butch Jones loses this game it's not going to matter what he says to the media and the Tennessee fans after the game. Paul Finebaum was laughing at what booger said and Paul said wow booger layin the smack talk down on Butch Jones

All of that could happen.... Or none of it could happen.

What a whiner. This is the same guy who was high as a kite on us in the offseason and now just because of 3 flat games he is reversing his prediction. This is why you never listen to analysts. They just say whatever they can to get press/clicks. Everything he said is pretty overboard for a "professional" to be predicting. Four straight losses and then losing the team? Give me a break,

Hard to argue with a lot of it.

Just gotta prove it on the field

No, you can argue with most of it. For one thing, playing UMass, Kentucky and N Texas St doesn't prove that a team has the best defense in the country. That's also a very one sided take. Tennessee did find a way to move the ball on Florida last year with much of the same personnel. He also makes no mention of Chance Hall's return or of the fact that Florida will likely have trouble moving the ball on Tennessee with a backup QB who has never started before. Finally, Butch hasn't used the 'brick by brick' line in a long time. This is just piling on to the talking head narrative.

I agree with Booger. Except we will go 1-3

Of course it's a narrative. Knocking Butch is low hanging fruit right now. It will be that way until he beats Florida or Alabama.

Catbone- can I get you to promise not to post again before the GA game after we win Saturday? Take some time off to recover. It'll do ya good.

Sorry but if Tennessee loses tomorrow, CBJ will lose this fan base.

If we don't get a win after playing / play-calling all out, I think I will be able to not lose it / able to handle another non-W and move forward (lots can change to our favor still).

But I think we win this one.

I agree and that's fair... but the Boog's take was still very one sided and he didn't support it well. He was just running his mouth.

... and I really don't believe that anyone will be calling Florida's defense the best in the country at the end of the season. That was hyperbole.

Same guy that left Derek Barnett off his list of top five defensive linemen in the SEC.

Wow, cbj really did turn us into moral victory university.

....I mean, WHAT!!!? You're telling me you can handle another loss and not hold cbj responsible? That's unbelievable
