Honestly, i am not surprised if he has mentally checked out. This fan base turned on him like rabid dogs via social media, based on rumor mongering from a minor radio personality.

It is hard to give your all for a fanbase that crucified you when most were clueless as to what the situation was.

With that said, if he doesn't improve his on field performance, he will continue to be a liabilty to our already weak secondary.

Go watch that play again. Not playing physical is why he got beat, and he quits on the play once he was beat. Probably wouldn’t have caught the dude, but didn’t even try. Multiple examples of him half assing it and being mentally checked out. It’s not a one play occurrence.

Boo is one sorry thing....But I question the coach and coaches that actually let him play and continue let's him play after he's shown his off season attitude and in season effort. I blame those folks as much as I do Boo.

He spent the entire offseason singling himself out. Now it's suddenly about "team" when it comes to criticism? Get real.

Yeah, the whole defense is struggling, but not all of it is lack of effort, and not all of them spent the summer going into business for themselves.

No, you don’t leave one place where you receiving good coaching and get to another place receive bad coaching and become a potential first round prospect, that is 100% not how it works.

You do know Willie Martinez was Tim Banks’ position coach in college and the reason he even came to Tennessee, right? Willie’s thumbprint is all over this defense. The pass defense has sucked 8/9 years that Willie has coached here. That’s across different head coaches, different coordinators, and different rosters. Way too large of a sample size to simply be a coincidence.

Been watching extremely closely for years buddy. Be real like our secondary was light out with Derrick Ansley either? No. Our “best” db years since 2010 was either 2015 or maybe 21 with alontae Taylor and Tank at safety. But ‘15 with randolf, McNeil and Cam Sutton we were more than solid. Who was the DB coach in 15 maybe Martinez.. also you do know that Martinez was with coach Huep at UCF too right ?
