Go watch that play again. Not playing physical is why he got beat, and he quits on the play once he was beat. Probably wouldn’t have caught the dude, but didn’t even try. Multiple examples of him half assing it and being mentally checked out. It’s not a one play occurrence.

It does seem he gives little effort at times. He has been a disappointment thus far in terms of what type of impact player I thought he would be when he was recruited. I thought he would ball out here.

In reality, he has made a few plays . . . But his impact on special teams has been little . . . No impact on offense . . . And on defense he looks disinterested at times. Maybe he is fully engaged? If he is . . . He is simply an average player.

Our defense is bad, bad; but he quit on a play he got beat on. He could have tackled the WR 13-15 yards prior to the TD but pulled up.
Put a freshmen in and let the struggle build experience.
