Tony’s right a lot more than people would care to admit. He’s no longer the equivalent of some dude sending YouTube videos from his car. He has actual guests on that have access…even when he may not.

And what I find funny is how people always point to when he isn’t right, when Tony himself readily admits when he is wrong. Dude is always owning it when he’s wrong. I get that he’s not for everyone, I just don’t get the personal animosity towards the guy nor do I get the narrative that he makes junk up and stirs stuff up. In fact,last week, he was forcefully saying some of the things being said about Boo just weren’t true and that he was a good kid and it could be fixed.

It's the way that TB mentioned it last Monday... he didn't have anything meaningful or informative on it for days. Just mentioned it so he could say he was first, and kept hammering it every day because he didn't have anything else to talk about. But good for you, TB... you'll be able to say "we had it first. Not that I care about being first, but yeah I was first.

I enjoy playing and I watch a lot of the Majors and the Championship weekends, but that doesn't evoke the same passion as UT sports. Plus, betting on golf is stupid hard.

It’s after 1am Tuesdayand there’s still no definitive eyeball account that Boo was at the team meeting Monday night.
Since there were multiple reports that he was in Knoxville, I do think it’s probably fair to think that he would be at this and all team meetings. But you never know.
Maybe we will know more after CJH press conference on Tuesday.

For the sake of rumors: I’m wondering if Deion Sanders’ recent surgery had anything to do with Boo Carter’s change of heart and desire to make up with UT.

Many of you will remember that Boo’s high school recruitment was reported to be between UT and Colorado. The kid seemed to be hellbent on getting kicked off the team just a week ago. Not only did he ghost his football team, but also went and hired a new agent behind his current or former agent’s back.

Suddenly he shows back up asking forgiveness, like he just found a miracle anti-depressant and everyone is supposed to believe that was the problem. My guess is that without communication with Coach Prime, who had to have cancer removed, Boo and his new agent lost their nerve.

I’ve heard another rumor involving drugs, but I don’t see how that fits in here, so I’m going to dismiss it as nonsense, like a cryptic tweet from Boo’s mom.

Not the first person to know. Just the first person who found out, that didn’t give a **** about the welfare of the UT football program. That’s who TB was in this case. Just a guy who was more interested in attention than whether or not a problem could be mended.

Many professional writers who cover TN athletics get their hands on rumors early and quite often, but for the sake of not severing ties with the TN athletics program, they refrain from spreading the rumors until the right time in which the program says the damage is done and there’s no going back.

TB slighted Danny White in an unsubstantiated claim and now has caused problems for the Heupel staff. Tony B is on his was to getting his sources ran off from campus, if I were Danny White or Josh Heupel.

He’s been clear that he doesn’t know. Plus, he’s REPEATEDLY differentiated what he knows versus what he feels. For example, he said he was very certain that there was a physical altercation between Boo and other players. That’s since been affirmed by multiple sources.

What he “expects” is like asking what he feels. His own comment was it seemed like 30/70 gone versus staying, which is essentially what Adam Sparks indicated. If anything he’s done his best to tamp down rampant speculation. But again, all his shows are archived and there for FREE.

What I hear is a lot of pearl clutching combined with a kneee jerk, shoot the messenger reaction, if something negative comes out that they don’t want to be true. Heck, one poster said as much. As if the media and fans are just going to ignore a story of this magnitude. Well, too damn bad.

And when someone says they "expect" something, it means they have intimate knowledge of the situation. Quite clearly that wasn't the case here. For him to speculate on the likelihood of Boo's status with the team was in fact poor journalism.

I consider his show to be akin to a fan standing around the water cooler chit chatting with a few buddies. Yeah, it's water cooler banter. He's all about attention/credibility seeking. He will always fall back on his source being wrong or misleading him....or the situation being fluid when he's proven wrong. If...if he actually owns being wrong in the first place.
