You and your wife will be in my prayers.Heard some details on the news earlier. Sounds like a really bad deal that will at best handicap his ability to be physically active. It sounds like they removed his bladder requiring him to have some sort of artificial means of passing Urine. One person said that the typical survival time for someone with that kind of cancer is 5 years after surgery.
My wife is battling stage 4 breast cancer right now. I know more about the topic than I ever wanted to.
Don’t go by survival rates. Much of it on Google is old data and inaccurate often focusing on worst case. Also 5 yr data may be if it goes untreated, which is why it’s important to get scanned. I’ve found more and more people the last year who were given a short time who are years out with all sorts of cancers.Heard some details on the news earlier. I had bladder cancer aka urothelial carcinoma. (Cancer of the lining in the bladder) They measure it as low grade or high grade. I’m blessed that mine was low grade which has a 97% 5 year survival rate. I had surgery with one chemo wash and left with a catheter and bag for 4 days. After 6 months I was declared cancer free. High grade indicates it has infiltrated the bladder and moved to the lymphatic system where it easily spreads. This requires continued chemotherapy for a period of time. Some elect to forgo chemotherapy as the outcome doesn’t vary much. High grade has between a 10% to 40% 5 year survival rate. I did lose 35 lbs during my ordeal however it did not prevent me to continuing my endurance training after around 6 weeks. I pray CDS has the same results.Heard some details on the news earlier. Thank you, 99% of the talk on here is about Bastillio. I was just trying to give some insight on what I heard but apparently these people would rather bash someone for reporting anything that actually matters. And yeah, I just joined Friday to follow the news and read what everyone is hearing but shame on me I guess! It is ridiculous someone makes a post on what they heard on the radio and gets attacked.
I guess there is a reason I never visit the FF.
