Are Tennessee fans concerned about Boo's well being or stressing over losing a guy in Secondary?
If Boo was a 3 star or less he'd already been kicked off the team. Hypocrisy at its finestIf they were going to do that, I suspect they would have done it by now especially after Nico. I'm betting Heupel takes him back and tries to smooth things over with the media and fans. Players won't be fooled tho. You can count on that.
I have a friend who coached at Alabama and in the NFL. He said its hard to coach some players who make more money than their coaches. He had a big family and some of the players ragged him for driving a van while they drove flashy cars.So I've been keeping up with some of this craziness. The thing that gets me (if any of this is true) about missing practices, showing up late to meetings, etc. Is the hypocrisy of having a culture. Josh always talks about culture and if Boo was a 3 star or less he'd already been kicked off the team. He's a good player so everyone lets him get by with this crap (again if true) Same with Nico it seems the players are dictating what happens not the coaches. They're getting chance after chance to do what's right and still don't. The other players see this crap and it destroys moral and the concept of a team. Plus the coaches look weak and like liars. They're saying Boo could withdraw from UT as a student and go anywhere he wants as a walk on (Colorado) wink wink. The transfer portal means nothing if this happens. Collective bargaining is the only way.

I think the important thing at this juncture is “They’re saying”So I've been keeping up with some of this craziness. VFL Bubba Miller tells the story when he started with Philadelphia his OL coach told him “there’s two sets of rules. The sooner you figure out which set apply to you, the better off you’ll be”.If Boo was a 3 star or less he'd already been kicked off the team. Hypocrisy at its finest
The important thing is: press reports are attacking a Vol's attendance and participation and Coach Heupel has let it go on for about 2 weeks without defending him in the press.I think the important thing at this juncture is “They’re saying”
When it comes to the application of character, I will go with CJH and DW over anybody with just screen and radio access to the facts. It is possible that the program will be better off without some players and lots of “FANS”. You don’t have to be a tree killer or teabagger to be a net negative for the program, and the every program has them defense does not mitigate the realities of providing fodder for our enemies to share with the world. If Boo was a 3 star or less he'd already been kicked off the team. Hypocrisy at its finest
The negative from this is in the TEAM actions, not the fans. The negative recruiting is in: you see what Heupel had happen with Nico, then Carter. It's a zoo in the locker room there. There's no unity. Nobody takes care of each other. When it comes to the application of character, I will go with CJH and DW over anybody with just screen and radio access to the facts. They are actually handling it and it’s a testament to the culture where the leadership council which is the players are policing it. That’s a very positive culture thing. So I've been keeping up with some of this craziness. Did Churchill say that? I know Kissinger said something similar and Churchill certainly has plenty of good sayings, I just didn’t know that was among them. It’s certainly true.Winston Churchill once said "That which must be done eventually should be done immediately." Wise man.
Doesn't need to be front page news, but it's time for CJH and Boo to have a sit-down. One question: "Are you in or are you out?"
And then do what must be done.
Never that simple in reality, but that's the right answer. Lead, follow, or get out of the way.
This is where a player council is smart. If they can accept a kid back then ok. If they can’t then the kid can’t come back. Having leadership from within is crucial on any kind of team.I can tell you’ve never played organized sports considering how easily you are excusing Boo’s behavior for missing workouts while the rest of the team is busting their ass and showing up and doing what is expected of them. Quit making excuses for someone who is likely making more money annually than a significant portion of this fanbase and who is failing to live up to his promises.
That is hilarious! I don’t get why people take things on the road so personally but that cracked me up.Practically, I don't know Boo Carter personally so my concern for his personal well being is on a par with the guy I passed on I-40 yesterday who seemed to be struggling emotionally from my quick glance into his vehicle.
My real input into Boo's life and well being is essentially zero.
Now, my real input into the Vols secondary is.....I got nothing.
We're on a message board, man. It's like old men sitting around the local Hardee's over coffee. We're loud in our room but a mosquito fart in the big scheme of things.
Coldly, who cares about our concern? What kind of question is that?
