Swain said if he was a player on the team he would be acting as if Boo isn't with the team and that it's radio silence from Boo.

Has anyone heard what his reason for unplugging from the team is? His NIL was bumped and he was given assurance that he could play offense some.

THIS is how its done with class. Take time (days) to gather and vet information from real sources inside the team and coaching staff. Speak only on FACTS you know to be true...don't start or spread unsubstantiated rumors or secondhand (or third, fourth) guesses as to what may or may not be the actual truth.

It makes no difference whatsoever that Basilio was correct about SOME of what he was spreading. None. There are ALWAYS small disciplinary issues within ANY football team, and even conflict directly between players because its an ultra-competitive situation for playing time. These things are supposed to be handled IN HOUSE within the team. 99% of the time they are. Hubbs even made a point to dispel one of the rumors about Boo having issues or even legal troubles back in Chattanooga. This is responsible journalism.

Basilio and Adams along with all the other jacklegs who would absolutely tear this program to shreds and cost CJH his job if it meant they got even 1000 more subscribers can kick rocks. They are selfish and irresponsible. Zero class. Adams is actually much worse than Basilio honestly because he has tried to wreck this program for decades. I hope he is as miserable as he seems to be and then some.

Hubbs himself posted on VQ earlier in the week that there were "rumors of a situation in Chattanooga." If TB was irresponsible for suggesting that on his show, then so was Hubbs.

Hubbs just said on a video that he didn't think there was anything at all to those rumors.

I know. He also said on the VQ message boards that there were "rumors of a situation in Chattanooga" involving Boo earlier this week. You jumped all over TB for saying that on his show, but Hubbs said the same thing.

I think it is easier for people to jump on TB and not Hubbs because of the difference in demeanor between the two.

This one had legs.
Sometimes these stories don't have legs.
This one moved because it did.
None of the people involved in reporting it caused the story, they just told what they'd heard.

You're upset because you don't like their sources? That's the crux of this? Sources, right?

You act as though the team is reading VN or listening to the radio or podcasts to get info about themselves.

C'mon. Point to the "damage" done by someone talking about this story. Show me where it hurt you. Seriously, show me real damage from this besides your feels.

Yeah maybe but Hubbs has been wrong before. One guy pounds three sodas on camera and then burps for 10 minutes straight while the other presents himself in a much more professional manner. I listen to both guys btw and like what they have to say.

I have no intentions of arguing with you bud, we are both VOLS and I don't even know you. Basilio said a bunch of other things too and then created an account on VN Monday to come talk about himself in the 3rd person for 1000 words or so in which he posted his entire resume and mentioned himself by name 7 freaking times. Then proceeded to quote and argue with board members defending himself. "Local Yokel" .Theres another much older username in this thread that defends every single aspect of TB and his behavior so much that it is also VERY suspect of being him or at least a close family member.

If you don't see a Grand Canyon sized chasm of difference between his behavior and how Hubbs handled the situation then I cannot help you. Regardless, i wish you the best. I don't argue with strangers online...I have a wife. Turns out those are willing to argue anytime of day or night 😆

There's a Grand Canyon-sized chasm of difference between their personal styles, sure. Hubbs is much more professional. But they both have said basically the same things regarding Boo.

Hubbs wouldn’t have broke the story until it was a story. This would have remained inside the complex until the coaches wanted it out. That’s the problem here.

Edit*- It’s already difficult enough to recruit and keep players basically on 1 year deals. The last thing any University wants is a podcaster spreading misinformation and rumors that should remain inside the building.

This x100. The way Basilio does things is intentional to rile up the fanbase to create traffic for his own benefit and only makes the situation worse.

Just explain how he "makes the situation worse?"

Precisely, how, other than bothering some people that he talks about something they don't know about. I'm certain those involved aren't getting their info from him and those not involved can't "make it worse."

Exactly what is someone reporting what they've heard DOING to "make it worse?"
