I'm still waiting for more to come out before I start name calling and hand wringing. If all he did was miss some meetings/practice because he was on a family trip and didn't get approval first thats a slap on the wrist. He's a kid. If he is at the first practice this is all probably a nothingburger. The people saying he's a "thug" and we should just go ahead and kick him off the team sound foolish.
Tell everyone you never played sports without telling themI'm still waiting for more to come out before I start name calling and hand wringing. This is far from the first time Tony has been right or mostly right coming out of the gate. Yet, people beat up on him all the time as if heās always wrong. Iāve also heard him go hat in hand and say he missed when he has missed, so at least he owns it.You seem very angry about Basilio being right. You have no clue what sources he vetted his storyā¦
Yeah, Iām kinda over the whole ātheyāre just kidsā defenses of stuff like this. As somebody whoās fairly young, I know full well how big of an idiot I used to beā¦.. but if I did something stupid, I dealt with the consequences, even despite the fact I was young and stupid.Yeah.. no
That argument is no longer an excuse.
Heās an legal adult and an employee making big money.
Itās his responsibility to follow protocols with the team.
the NFL Stars who donāt attend mini camps are typically vets (example: Derrick Henry). Even if we applied this logic to the situationā¦.. Boo is only a sophomore, who certainly has elite talent, but heās hardly a big enough star presence to justify missing practices.I did actually. But this is big time sports now with money involved. If we're gonna treat it like NFL then some players might feel like certain meetings are optional. NFL Stars don't often attend mini camps
He didn't miss practice. It hasn't started yet. That's kind of my pointthe NFL Stars who donāt attend mini camps are typically vets (example: Derrick Henry). Just about anytime a media member has had bad news to report like this about the Vols, it is true. Like 95% of the time. And yet some people act like the inverse is true. Very cultyThis is far from the first time Tony has been right or mostly right coming out of the gate. Yet, people beat up on him all the time as if heās always wrong. He's not an employee. If he were, he'd be in contact with the player's union rep about the fines he's getting for missing meetings and such. He'd be under contract to play ball, not sham NIL contracts.Yeah.. no

You are correctDang son, Mike Keith has been on Tonyās show twice since taking the new job. Did you miss that? Sounds like you did, LOL. They talked openly and laughed about their rivalry back in the day.
Tony has always been one of the most humble guys and has owned mistakes. As he says, āI can be wrong, but I wonāt stay wrong.ā Youāre wayyyyy off base here. Since, as you say, heās wrong OFTEN, it shouldnāt be hard to provide an example.
It seems to me that many of yall have a caricature of Tony that you enjoy takes cheap shots at. Pretty damn pathetic if you ask me.
