How many NFL guys are broke after 5 years of leaving? These college kids are making some money but not as much as NFL guys and you don’t think they are blowing it? Nico had to get a U-Haul.It’s unfortunate that this is the college sports world thats been created . The greed, and I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with $, there’s not, but the $ is not going to be a long term solution to all of their needs. A kid from Chattanooga that ends up at Tennessee has every opportunity to become a legend there, build lifelong friends and relationships there, always have a home in multiple places across the state and gives it up for a few promises that may or may not be kept.
Patrick did clarify it was just his two cents on the situation but you're right that he has about as good of a read on it as anyone. If Patrick Brown is saying it (someone highly connected in Chattanooga who doesn't just say things), then you can bet that it is true. Sounds like Bye Bye Boo.
I hate it for him. But, also....no one is bigger than the program. Bye.
boo has a pattern of being late or skipping team meetings, causing his teammates to run and such. his teammates don’t like that. boo fled to california. there’s a path for boo to be on the team. we don’t know what it is. but we know there’s no reason to assume he’ll take it.I’m sorry I didn’t read 26 pages of posts. Can somebody give me a Cliff notes version as to what happened and if Boo is gone?

sad situation really. another kid who refuses to do what everyone else on the team does. as a result his career is in jeopardy. i’ve seen too many talented kids end up jobless after college to think otherwise.
Thank you. Hope it works out but doesn’t seem likely.boo has a pattern of being late or skipping team meetings, causing his teammates to run and such. his teammates don’t like that. boo fled to california. there’s a path for boo to be on the team. we don’t know what it is. but we know there’s no reason to assume he’ll take it.

Not a single person on this site has called him a thug. Shut upI'm still waiting for more to come out before I start name calling and hand wringing. If all he did was miss some meetings/practice because he was on a family trip and didn't get approval first thats a slap on the wrist. He's a kid. If he is at the first practice this is all probably a nothingburger. The people saying he's a "thug" and we should just go ahead and kick him off the team sound foolish.
If he has NFL aspirations, this escapade has probably cost him far more NFL money than any marginal increase he gets going from one school to another.boo has a pattern of being late or skipping team meetings, causing his teammates to run and such. his teammates don’t like that. boo fled to california. there’s a path for boo to be on the team. we don’t know what it is. but we know there’s no reason to assume he’ll take it.

Boo may be on the team maybe not,we’ll know next week. Most of the 26 pages are about Tony Basilio (he broke the news that something was happening).Half of the posters want to have his baby and the other half don’t.That pretty much sums it up.I’m sorry I didn’t read 26 pages of posts. You can read about it here: The Tony Basilio ShowBoo may be on the team maybe not,we’ll know next week. Most of the 26 pages are about Tony Basilio (he broke the news that something was happening).Half of the posters want to have his baby and the other half don’t.That pretty much sums it up.
Tony is not everyone’s cup of tea.I fixed your post. If you're going to sensationalize Tony's supporters, keep it fair and do the same for his haters.
I don't think getting a read on this is all that difficult. Anyone who played organized sports knows "team" and "locker room". There are dynamics and lines you don't cross. Given the what's been reported about the player, his family and now the likely new agent, I see almost zero chance Carter remains on this team. IMO, Heupel has one move to make unless he wants to have his Kelly Washington moment....assuming he's not already crossed that threshold.Patrick did clarify it was just his two cents on the situation but you're right that he has about as good of a read on it as anyone.
