Boo Carter rumors from Basilio

Lol.

I only know what I see here about Tony and I base my opinion of him on who likes him and who doesn't.

My opinion is at the very bottom of the list of who's opinion matters, but fwiw it aint good. Lulz.

Leave Tony Alone...

It was worth opening this thread just to watch you two argue who has the least valuable opinion. Two of my favorite contrarians .

… don’t tell anyone I said that . 😊

An update on the Boo Carter situation.

People can dislike Basillio all they want, but he’s not wrong on this.
If there are not specific acts or rules broken then yes he is . IF IF IF his issues are NOT stepping up in a leadership role, that is not good but not a lack of character like all the pot shots he is getting WITHOUT a basis in fact, led by TB.

Has he been in actual trouble or just subject of rumors
Rumors. An inordinate amount of rumors. I hope they are all wrong and that by extension I am wrong
Well, I don't think that makes him a thug
You missed the post I was responding to about him harassing a girl at his school. That is what would make him a thug if it is true.

An update on the Boo Carter situation.

What did he say?

I could be wrong, but it seems to me the level of drama (aside from the Nico saga) has been way down under CJH?
I think so? Also in Heupel’s defense almost all of it has been outside factors out of his control IMO. We had the NCAA stuff left over from the Pruitt fallout that dragged recruiting each offseason up until a year or so ago and then the first Nico stuff last offseason with the NCAA and now this stuff with Nico and Boo. It also doesn’t help that local sports media and message boards run wild with rumors.

Seriously?
I believe this is the quote from VQ. I got it second hand because I don't have an account there. I don't know if it is California or Colorado. The "Cooper" person is referring to Omar Cooper who is the agent of Ace Bailey (Rutger's star basketball player who isn't working out for any NBA teams because they want him to be drafted by a team that gives him a path to become a star).

Boo went out to California over the weekend. His family and Cooper have been in talks but they haven’t fired their current agent to this point. Boo has to do the little things better. He can’t just go to Colorado at this juncture unless there is some deal I don’t know about. He isn’t a grad transfer. There is a path to him being on this team but he has burned some bridges with his teammates by not showing up and being late causing more running for others and such. It’s a complex deal but one Tennessee will eventually have to make a decision with - Austin Price

Why are we even talking about this? He’s in California and he missed some meeting? Good grief

I say kick him to the curb. Talent only gets you so far this mindset of his will come back to haunt him

It sounds like he went to California (Colorado?) without permission, missed multiple meetings and team workouts, and pissed his teammates off. It's a significant issue. Practice starts in a week. These players aren't just free to take off whenever they want.

Sounds like Boo can’t get rid of the Colorado itch. Heupel has been dealing with this aIl along. If that’s where he wants to be, by all means, go there. Money is the only thing that keeps him here it appears. Screw that.

This is now a real job with pay, obligations & expectations. Imagine taking off work for days, unexplained or unexcused. Many of us wouldn’t have a job when we returned.
