Hopefully this is all internet rumor nonsense. Not sure what all UT football players are "obligated to do" during "voluntary" summer workouts and weight training etc but it can't be very difficult since every player manages to do it every off season without issue. Hopefully this is a big nothingburger like most rumors. Coach Hype has run a very clean program since we got here...i believe due to the team culture his staff has built. Player leadership seems to be in good shape too based on the anecdotes from SEC media days etc. Boo and Arion are both great athletes and Arion is one of our team leaders this year. I choose to believe in our players until proven otherwise guilty.

I don't read Boo Carter as someone who would slack off from anything directly connected to football.

Exactly. I thought they had tutors that basically knew the syllabus and assignments and made sure things got taken care of that had to be done.

Especially someone like Boo. I find it hard that someone just "let him slide" as a tutor without getting Coach Heupel on him if he was potentially messing up his eligibility.

What I take away from this is... someone is accusing Boo of being tied to a gang or in a gang. She is saying someone is telling lies to the school to try and get Boo in trouble. It also seems like she is willing to stand up for him and say things to people so he doesn't have to. That's how I take it anyways
