You forgot this part:Latest news from a to z
“I’ve been doing everything I could,” added Carter. “I told him (Heupel) I was hurt. He wanted me to play hurt throughout the whole season. I don’t know, how he’s putting it is making it sound like the stuff that happened in fall camp still [has an impact in November].”
Getting paid for essentially doing nothing has a lot to do with it. No longer have to perform to go play at the pro level and get paid.Never understand what's in a 19 yr old kids mind when he's giving up on a chance to reach the top at something u work so hard for. Football was important to u boo and someone n ur head making money the top priority when if u would have starred at ur home state university for 2 more years the money would rolled in. Feel sad for these kids these days
Thanks for the clarification @NO SIR EEE ! For some reason I thought I'd heard the Carter boys were cousins.Arion is no relation to Boo. Good luck to you and your kid. Hope all goes well.
He does have significant health issues, but you’re right that he/they can use that for the easy out for the benefit of all parties . We will know if there is a negotiated buyout what the deal is. Surely he doesn’t walk away empty handed after that huge deal he got. He’s not gonna leave that bag. He’s Deion Sanders.I'd be shocked if he doesn't retire for "health reasons".
Unless you're smoking dope in a Louisiana graveyard with a pistol under the seat.......At NCSU, when you're playing for a 7-5 record, that's a risk you take.
At UT, when you should be playing for a shot at the SECCG and the CFP, you send him packing the very day he doesn't toe the line.
How long do you think Saban would have put up with the drama?
There's a reason why Alabama won so much. Talent was a large part of it, but they all knew where the "line of death" was with Saban.
