Boo Carter officially off the team

Latest news from a to z

“I’ve been doing everything I could,” added Carter. “I told him (Heupel) I was hurt. He wanted me to play hurt throughout the whole season. I don’t know, how he’s putting it is making it sound like the stuff that happened in fall camp still [has an impact in November].”
You forgot this part:

Heupel was asked on Monday if Carter should’ve been listed on any SEC injury reports this season (Carter hadn’t been listed on recent reports).

“No sir,” replied Heupel. “Not based on our trainers.”

I am beginning to wonder, as teams fall from playoff contention, will the already paid NIL , NFL draft ready players fake injuries or play the last 2 games. Will they play but avoid heavy physical contact and potential injury? Just wondering since I saw a player quit on the field and give up a touchdown.

I hate that we'll have to continue hearing about him and "rumors" for the better part of the next year even though he's no longer with the team. Drama like this just comes with being a UT football fan unfortunately. This feels like Hurd 2.0 or worse to me. I wonder if someone "fell on a helmet"?

Good luck finding a landing spot. His film is horrible and his attitude is worse, not to mention his mama. I'm sure one of the reasons Heupel let him go now was to essentially warn other coaches what they might be getting. He's going to be lucky to land at a directional school with an NIL valued at free dry cleaning up to $20.

HC has no say in UT players being healthy enough to play or not unless they see something and want a key player to sit in a blowout for leg rest.
Everybody who has been playing is nicked up and sore.
Narcissists are gonna do their thing. It’s never their fault. Boo is about to attend his 6th school in 6 years. It’s never been their fault.

Never understand what's in a 19 yr old kids mind when he's giving up on a chance to reach the top at something u work so hard for. Football was important to u boo and someone n ur head making money the top priority when if u would have starred at ur home state university for 2 more years the money would rolled in. Feel sad for these kids these days
Getting paid for essentially doing nothing has a lot to do with it. No longer have to perform to go play at the pro level and get paid.

I'd be shocked if he doesn't retire for "health reasons".
He does have significant health issues, but you’re right that he/they can use that for the easy out for the benefit of all parties . We will know if there is a negotiated buyout what the deal is. Surely he doesn’t walk away empty handed after that huge deal he got. He’s not gonna leave that bag. He’s Deion Sanders.

Remember Henry To'oTo'o looking up at the scoreboard in his cute little Bama uniform in 2022 after we whipped his arse? I have a feeling history is going to repeat itself with Boo.

At NCSU, when you're playing for a 7-5 record, that's a risk you take.

At UT, when you should be playing for a shot at the SECCG and the CFP, you send him packing the very day he doesn't toe the line.

How long do you think Saban would have put up with the drama?

There's a reason why Alabama won so much. Talent was a large part of it, but they all knew where the "line of death" was with Saban.
Unless you're smoking dope in a Louisiana graveyard with a pistol under the seat.......
