Boo Carter not allowed to play yesterday?

Is this the same player who desired to take Brandon Staley's spot as slot receiver - then switch to defense - then also return punts? A lot of words and speculation have been used for Boo and now he is spoken of in past tense. Any coach that hires Boo will need performance clauses before cutting any real checks.

Given his quality of play and the prevalence of sports gambling these days you have to worry that he would do something stupid for a quick buck.

(Note that this is purely speculative, but if you're at the point where you don't care about the team, you're a huge liability on the field)

Some of these kids just don't want it badly enough. You can have all the talent in the world, but if the "want to" isn't there, you're not going to live up to your potential. I wish him the best in life.

Remember pre-season, the player leadership wanted him gone. Coach Heupel, ever the mentor and calming presence, gave him a path to success. Boo walked it for a while, then went sideways again. I suspect he will not play another down as a Tennessee Vol.

It's on him. I wish him luck wherever he ends up, and in life. Most especially that he matures soon, before he misses key opportunities.

Go Vols!

Been wondering this. 3/12 muffed punts sure seems extraordinarily high

With Florida losing their coach we should gauge if there is any interest from Lagomza Hayward. He was committed here until the last minute. He is tearing it up at Florida as a true freshman along the same lines as Perlotte here.We could pay him with the money for Boo and his mom.It would be an upgrade.

Boo Carter has not played for Tennessee this year even when he was in the games. Not running down runner in Ky. game.Fair catching returnable punts in games.Should not even dress for next two games.Screw his attitude.Kick his ass off and let his NIL demands sink in some other team terms.

If a coach sets up a leadership team to create standards for the team, then a player doesn’t respect leadership team, and leadership wants him gone. However the coach sees the removal as a loss of talent, how is the leadership team supposed to react to the coach. Coach knows best, or why did he even create this leadership team, we have no final influence and lost team respect.
What to do.
