Why is it we cannot get a true drop back passer, pro style. So many want to go to Ga, Ala, Fla, Aub, but not UT, and yet those teams are 3 stacked. Some of them never really get to play too many snaps, but they will bypass us to go there. I dont get it. Is it our recruiting, is it our style of offense. Not a fan of Jarrett, I am sure he is a good man, just miss having that type of QB on the roster. I am for Chryst getting his shot at this point, we have nothing to lose, anyone thinking we were going to a bowl game this year, dream on.

Man, with the way college football is going with mobile QBs opening up the play book/offensive scheme to include read option and RPO, it's too good, too lethal to defense's for offensive coaches and head coaches to pass up. Then throw in the QB draw and QB power, toss in the ability to scramble out of the pocket and avoid sacks, it's just too good, too effective, to pass up.

My prediction: Tennessee has a big game passing. Chandler is our leading receiver. Defense will force 2 turnovers giving us a short field.

Tennessee wins in a dramatic upset

UT will keep the game close until the defense wears out. We are simply not good enough offensively to move the ball consistently against a competent defense. I don't understand why some of you refuse to comprehend that. It has happened time and time again in every game including teams that have no business stoping our offense. The defense will wear down against a good Auburn offense after being on the field for most of the game. The UT staff has shown no ability to produce a competent offense or adjust to another team's defense. I hope UT wins every game they take the field but we are a long ways from beating a good SEC team.

This is a BOLD thread, not realistic thread. Pretty sure most UT fans can tell after five games that this team is trash.

Two turnovers deep in their own territory lead to Vol touchdowns. The Volunteers add another 10 on sustained drives to defeat a stunned Auburn 24 to 17.
