Bodie Reeder for OC?

Checks all the boxes and maybe was already hired but is legitimately holding off on announcing since he is currently coaching the offense pursuing a championship for Eastern Washington, whose offense lights up the scoreboard every game. He was the QB coach at Oklahoma State for a while. He was a teacher back in his days coaching D3 in Wisconsin and Pruitt likes his coaches to have a teaching background.

sure. why not. someone email Pruitt.

I'm pretty sure this guy is available:

Walt Harris Likes To Punt On Third Down At Stanford

walt-harris-stanford-57574.jpg

Walt Harris earned his pink slip from Stanford following a 1-11 season in 2006. Known for his odd playcalling, Harris had an affinity for punting on third down instead of fourth down. He was also considered too tough on the athletes, and was cited as the reason at least one quit the program.

After leaving Stanford, Harris became the passing game at the University of Akron. In 2010 he spent one season as the offensive coordinator at California University of Pennsylvania. He has not coached football since.
Walt went full ret+\d in his career. Essentially was the guy who designed the UT prostyle offense that both Fulmer and Cut ran. His time at Pitt was not good and then got progressively worse at each stop.

I would rather hire a coach who can put up points and will stick around to build a system than have to keep hiring coaches who plan to use UT as a stop over. He coaches at a small school is no reason to roast him. I do not know if the guy can recruit so perhaps he's not cut out for Pruitt's staff, but my main point is Pruitt should look for a partner who can build an offense that can score regularly and will stick around. That'll have the best impact on recruiting and ultimately lead to longer term success for the Volunteers. I do trust Pruitt kniws what he is doing. GO VOLS!

Well on the positive side, if he is our new OC, then we won't have to Google him again
I am inclined to think that if all the interviews have ended, then a hire has been made and it will likely be that Friend has been promoted
A really good hire would help, our recruiting efforts but since we still have not announced who the hire is, convinces me that it is a bad hire, thus Friend was promoted

Perhaps then they'll hire a passing game coordinator/QB coach. They need someone smart to utilize our great receivers.

I scouted them last Saturday playing on the red field.

John Brodie's grandson.

We will need to change our turf color to Orange.

I like it!
