I was all for Jones getting canned, but I will say, he was always out in the media hyping the Vols. Similar to when Pearl was here. We hardly ever see Pruitt. He needs to get out more in front of the fans and promote us better

Get every one of em out. God bless em for working hard and I hope each of them lands on his feet quickly. But if they’re associated with Butch Jones in any way and his toxicity that led to the disaster he left, they gotta go. A fresh start with the new sheriff and new standards and expectations is what’s badly needed.

But It would have started "falling apart" 2+ weeks before the NC game, if our Head Coach hadn't been coaching the NC game.

OR, it might have started falling apart weeks prior to that, 1) had we needed to fire our then-head coach or 2) had we remotely considered hiring G.Shhh..ahno, or 3)had we needed for any reason to fire our then-AD. Wow, glad none of THAT happened !

I always took the staples out of the centerfold back in the day before hanging her on my bedroom wall.
She liked it better that way.
The staples hurt her navel.

I believe he needs to do anything he has to do to make the vols a better football team, that may include keeping his head down and teaching the culture and dedication it takes to win to his current staff and players. I don't believe doing a lot of media will do that.

To the extent he needs to do media to help recruiting, including visiting high schools, civic clubs, athletic banquets etc, I agree with you. Otherwise, clear out the deadwood, spend time with the current players, and recruit for 2019.
