Its a drop in the bucket...not to us normal folks, but to UT..it ain't nothing. We hired a guy with no head coaching experience and you guys expect him to come in and win the East within two years. He is going to make mistakes and lots of them. You don't hire someone like this and not give them four years. If you fire him, there are not any proven guys that you are going to lure to this school. The cost of firing him is also ridiculous. You might as well sit back and be a part of Vol history as this isn't the first time the program has been down and it won't be the last. I don't know if Pruitt will work out or not, but you can't hire a new coach every year and think that they should win championships. I know they are winless and have a terrible loss. The only way you could possibly see a new coach is if the stadium is empty and I'm pretty sure that tickets for the year were sold so......
If we had Stoops come in now. (just saying, no way possible, nor wanted by me) The next 2-3 games after this one today, VolNation would say why did we hire a guy who's lost touch with the game, his time is past. Fulmer was a DS for payng him for this on field crap show. Fire both of them!!!!!
Hopefully Phil Fulmer will be looking for a new head coach in DecemberJust saw a Kentucky fan with a sign that said...
"Win or Lose at least we ain't Tennessee"
I came here to see if anyone had a thought on it. I read this thread and now I understand what they are saying. Volnation has utterly lost it. Two threads on the 1st page asking about changing coaches to a Stoop. We are in September and just 18 months into our new coach.
Hopefully Phil Fulmer will be looking for a new head coach in December
Absolute FACT: If someone were to start an alter account, claim to have a source in the athletic department, and have that source say Bob Stoops has an agreement to become the coach at Tennessee in 2020, most of the posters here would believe it. Absolute fact.
Why? Because at least half the posters on VN are complete morons with zero critical thinking skills.
Edit: This does not mean Bob Stoops will never coach college football again. This means you should not trust faceless people on the internet and NEVER trust Tony Basilio.
Grow up kid.I no longer have any confidence in Jeremy Pruitt's ability to turn things around I think Tennessee will be 1-6 in the 1st 7 games. Go jump off a cliff mr perfect Tennessee fan!
