Do they shed?yes
How are they with people with alergies? I have allergies, but we have tile floors so dander is not a problem.Do they howl uncontrollable? If you do not train them or if you allow them to. They are aggressive hunters but mine know there is no hounddogging after dark. The baying is music to my ears, but your neighbors may not think so. You need an acre or more to let them run and be happy.Do they smell bad? Do you smell bad if you don't bathe? We wash our babies at least once a week.

These have been my only reservations on them.

Honestly with no offense intended, you do not seem like a good fit with hounddogs.:thumbsup:

Thanks for the info. Been actually thinking of getting one. On the smell thing, some dogs just have a funk to them like say a poodle. My minature snauzer is great, but wanting a woods dog, go hiking with and such.

Are they agressive to wild rabbits squirrels?
