Hey guys,

I am very sad to be creating this thread. I need to find a good home for my Blue Tick Hound named Lina. Lina is 1.5 years old and was purchased from a breeder in SC.

She is a beautiful, sweet dog and is great with children and other animals. She is nearly fully grown and weighs around 65 pounds.

My wife and I are moving into a community that will not allow us to have her and we really want her to go to another UT fan who will appreciate her and treat her right. She is housebroken and is used to going into the back yard to do her business.

**Disclaimer** This dog is not a good fit for an apartment. She ideally needs someone who can give her a lot of exercise or has plenty of land for her to run around. Lina has a hunting pedigree but she has never been used to hunt.

I am having issues with my phone sending pics so I am not able to attach recent photos but will update soon. I have attached pics from when she was a puppy. Price is not a major factor as I am really just looking for someone who will give her a good home.

Please, reply if interested or email to Raleigh.Hamrick@yahoo.com and Crystal.Hamrick@yahoo.com.

Edit: Sorry mods...please move to the appropriate location.

I would be willing to give her a great home. I have a large farm and currently have 1 shepherd and one beagle both house dogs, who would get along well with her.

I would keep her as a house dog, as I am not big into hunting anymore. Large fenced yard with no major traffic roads anywhere near by.

I will send you an e-mail as soon as I get a free minute.

Thanks

Good man! :hi: What a gorgeous dog. Unfortunately, my issue is that i just don't have much land to allow her to run free on. Hope this works out for you both. GBO

I sent you an e-mail. We got your back. I am sure any one of us that can take her, will treat her like Gold...

Heck, My first dog as a child was a Bluetick hound named Beattie (Feathers). If that does not fit the bill as a Vol fan nothing will...LOL

Yes, she has been spayed. I've gotten several emails about her and I'm very happy that she will go to a good "orange" home. Thanks everybody and I'll be in touch with those of you who have emailed me.

I wish I could take her too. My brother had one for a few years and it was staying at his inlaws with him and she jumped their fence and got hit by a fire truck. She was the coolest dog I've ever been around. She had more personality than any other 3 dogs I've ever known. She was such a sweetheart. I don't think she had a clue that she wasn't a person tbh. lol

I miss Smokey so much. I can hardly imagine how much my brother misses her.

I would love to have him but we just bought a 2 month old Miniature Australian Shepard and will have our hands quite full with him. I always love hearing of dog owners doing the responsible thing and finding good homes for dogs when circumstances change and they arent able to care for them anymore rather than just turning them loose or into a shelter where they wont get the love they deserve. Good luck to whomever gets him, Blue Ticks are some of the most loving dogs and will show as much compassion for you and your family as you have shown it by taking him in. :good!::salute::hi:

If all your others fall through, give me a shout in the endzone. I have 2 Blueticks and a Blackmouth Cur and 2 acres in FL. I might be able to talk the wife into 1 more.
