Not to mention Ty Chandler will be a sophomore along with any Freshman that play like Sutton, Barnette, or Kirkland did their freshman years

By this time, all upperclassmen will have had 3 years of Shoopfence and at least 2 years of whatever else including strength and cond by the Rock. Count us in for the playoffs next year.

'Read an article from CBS Sports a coupla' days ago in which the journalist wondered alliteratively how in the world Vol Nation considered CBJ could be in any sort of "hot seat." He (can't remember who wrote it) listed quite a few comparisons and stats that clearly place Butch within the ranks of the most successful HCs across the nation. Those SECe and SEC championships and...maybe the big one...aren't nearly as far from reach as certain crybabies on this site keep decrying. Thanks for the list of UT's nicely developing studs you posted, VegasVol. Butch, most likely sooner than later, will produce the perfect song and dance and find that little bit of luck that's going to make crow pie the main course for quite a few here. I personally enjoy Mink's posts...particularly this one...and his enthusiasm nixes a dozen of the negas like Fade, et al, who seem to have altzheizmers when it comes to recalling Auburn's and A&M's and Ole Miss's and, heck, even SCjr's wins over Saban. Why not UT (?), indeed! I can recall Urban Meyer literally owning him, and no dynasty lasts more than a decade or so. His days on top are short. Often times simple minds only see bad in trying times! Injuries, injuries, drama, hurd , losing games we shouldn't! Usc , vandy , that sums up 2016 but guess what ! We have been tried by fire 🔥 coach jones has as well and he's clawing and fighting and he fierd long time friends to hire better coaches bc he truly loves Tennessee football! Make no mistake Butch is not fighting for his job , he's fighting bc that's what's in his heart and Tennessee is in the best shape its been in since fulmer! And as Phil said , for what you are willing to pay the price there is a great reward and our repesitives of Tennessee football are making the sacrifice to obtain the reward! Tennessee football is a freaking monster and even bama will look weak when we destroy them in Tuscaloosa! If you fans focus on the setbacks instead of the goal , than your blind and being robbed of the promise that you are about to receive and remember Butch promised a natty in the commercial and 2017 is the year! Go VOLS!

Who can we hire to beat Sabah? Nobody
I do like the direction on our program much better than in the past two years. I feel we have better coaches and will recruit better. Our program needs a little good luck. Had we won the east in either of the past two years we would be taking our pick of players just behind Bama. I don't blame Butch. He has been going 9 and 4 with smoke, mirrors and a mid major staff.
