I dunno. He's clearly the OMG! guy on the field but I also get the feeling that sometimes they leave those stripes on just a little bit longer than need be to motivate players. Just a theory, mind you.

That said, it really doesn't sound like VP needs any motivation so even if that theory is true it probably wouldn't matter in his case.
